| | Retsin Cabin In The Woods CD Retsin Discography of CDs
As its title suggests, Cabin in the Woods was recorded in a cabin in the woods in upstate New York in 2000. The acoustic songs echo the rural landscape and the back-to-nature mindset of Retsin's Tara Jane O'Neil and Cynthia Lynn Nelson. Nelson sings on the opening "Bright Sunshine" while O'Neil steps in on "The Bitter Bar Corner," which is completed by Ida Pearle's solemn violin. The pair continues to alternate songwriting duties throughout the disc. O'Neil's banjo on "Sepia Shade" blissfully maintains the pace over the duo's relaxed harmonies. O'Neil even makes an appearance on toy piano. Nelson's flute on "Bug Song" adds to the already mystical musical environment, which includes Ida's Liz Mitchell on accordion. "Berries" is a definite highlight, with some of the most powerful lyrics and vocals of the 15-song disc. "Ohayo Mtn Road" and "Carnival" follow, adding to the disc's folksy and hillbilly aura. "Dog and a Butterfly" is one of the more upbeat offerings on the otherwise sedate disc. The music returns to Retsin's usual subdued and seductive style on "Tangerine Moon." The down-home feel to the record is rounded out gracefully on the CD's final track, "Flatleaver." The songs were mixed and mastered by the band, with help from Christian Quick. Chicago's Carrot Top Records released Cabin in the Woods in 2001. ~ Stephen Cramer

Cabin In The Woods album
$38.49 DREAMS is a 4-CD box set compiling in chronological order tracks by the Allman Brothers Band, as well as tracks by bands featuring one or more member of the Allman Brothers Band and solo performances by Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts.
Recorded between 1966 & 1988. Includes a 32-page illustrated booklet and liner notes by John Swenson.
Like nearly all box sets, DREAMS has plenty to recommend it-and a few nagging drawbacks. The set's chief shortcoming is its two conflicting goals: providing an overview of the Allmans' history, thus attracting buyers seeking the ultimate hits package, and including enough unreleased tracks and rarities to appeal to the band's most devoted fans. As ...

Cabin In The Woods CD music
$15.29 This compilation contains 38 songs, including many new remixes from original master tapes, 6 previously unreleased songs, alternate versions of 3 others, and a comprehensive 36 page booklet, with historic liner notes and photos.
This excellent two-disc collection captures Poco's finest moments from the days when they were laying down the template for all the country-rock music that was to follow. It's hard to remember, but when the Eagles first hit the scene, they were thought by many to be a Poco-wannabe band. Listen to this set and you'll hear why. The Forgotten Trail (1969-1974) culls tracks from Poco's first eight albums, as well as unreleased cuts and singles. From the classic anthem "Pickin' Up the Pieces," which kicks things off, through "You Better Think Twice," "C'mon," "Kind Woman," "From the Inside," "A Good Feelin' to Know," "Crazy Eyes," and on and on, this is wonderful music, ...

Cabin In The Woods album
$13.29 Buddy Case is one of those rare musicians who is not only an accomplished singer / songwriter, but a gifted guitarist as well. Born in Portland, Oregon, Cases’ family followed the crop harvests into California. Case remembers picking prunes, green beans and cucumbers as a small child. “I remember eating more raw green beans than I put in the bag,” he laughs. “Listening to the Mexican families playing music in their yards at evening time had a profound effect on the style I developed on guitar”, Case says. In fact you can hear the influence of Spanish guitar on several of Cases’ recordings. By the time he was 14, his family had moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, and he was playing lead guitar in a 40 piece church orchestra. He released his first CD in 1999, titled A Simple Life and later a Christmas CD. In 2001, Case formed an all-acoustic band, The Acousticatz. Within the next year, the band went through two separate personnel changes and in 2003, his band won the Arkansas State Championship in the Colgate Country Showdown, the largest competition of its kind. They went on to represent Arkansas in Atlanta, Georgia, finishing 12th overall in the nation out of over 100,000 entries. Case produced two CDs with the Acousticatz and has since left the group and performs either solo or with select musicians. He produced a live CD in 2005 and has finished his 6th CD, which was released in November, 2006. Case has opened for the Nashville Bluegrass Band, but the highlight of Case's music career was playing onstage with Texas legends, Augie Meyers, W.C. Jameson, and Mike Blakely in Luckenbach, Texas. Whether playing venues ...
