Lacuna Coil's second full-length album successfully combines the backbone of metal with the ethereal trappings of goth. While vocalist Cristina Scabbia gives the band their sonic calling card, additional vocals from the group's male singer, Andrea Ferro, add tonal variety and balance. Rarely succumbing to heavy-handedness, Lacuna Coil escapes the stylistic straitjacket of the goth/metal formula, making them more accessible than many of their peers. This is without a doubt not just Lacuna Coil's best, but possibly one of the best albums of all time. It certainly is one of my all time favorites along with Amethystium's Aphelion.

I love Lacuna Coil! I got the Commalies album first, and then I bought Unleashed Memories. This album isn't as polished as Commalies, but it still rocks. You can tell they've definetly grown as artists. Still an awesome cd with alot of raw emotion.

Outstanding CD, their best in my humble opinion
15 songs, not one complaint, worth every penny. I own all their music but this one is their best. Their ability to mix perfectly male and female vocals is admirable. Purchase it, you won't be sorry

Not a bad album. think Evanescence but heavier. The male and female vocals are good, the music could be heavier though.

Something new to me.
First time I've ever heard Lacuna Coil, and I'm now hooked on em, great melodic sounds, and the female and male vocals go good together.
