| | Vader Reign Forever World CD Vader Discography of CDs
This fierce studio outing by the Polish death-metal band includes "Frozen Paths" and "Rapid Fire."
2001's Reign Forever World is a collection of outtakes and leftovers exhumed from the vaults of Polish death metal kings Vader. Kicked off by the memorable title track, the excellent opening trio of original compositions were recorded in late 2000, and later saw action as bonus tracks on the band's 2002 album Revelations. Similarly, the closing tandem of "Red Dunes" (a short instrumental mood piece) and "Lord of Desert" had previously only been available on the Japanese version of their 2001 L.P., Litany. Sandwiched in between, we have two tremendously visceral live performances of fan favorites: "Creatures of Light and Darkness" and "Carnal"; as well as three typically intense cover versions, namely: Destruction's "Total Disaster," Mayhem's "Freezing Moon," and, best of all, Judas Priest's classic "Rapid Fire." The latter comes off especially transformed after being subjected to Vader's inimitable thrash/death treatment, so that, where once it raced like liquid steel, it now flows like crude oil. Most refreshing of all, Reign Forever World doesn't feel like your typical selection of odds & sods, but stands up under scrutiny as a very worthy release in its own right. [Reign Forever World was later reissued by Metal Blade, and coupled with 2003's Blood E.P.] ~ Eduardo Rivadavia

Reign Forever World songs
$7.59 (MP3 Available for Download) Digitally remastered by Brian Lee and Bob Ludwig (Gateway Mastering Studios, Inc.).
Although Ozzy Osbourne received enormous commercial success with 1986's THE ULTIMATE SIN, his detour into glam metal proved unsatisfying for both Osbourne and his fans. Osbourne spent most of 1987 readying his postponed live album with Randy Rhoads for release, TRIBUTE, and pondering his future musical direction. He elected to return to the kind of music that got him where he was in the first place--loud, unapologetic heavy metal. He also decided to replace guitarist Jake E. Lee with a young newcomer from New Jersey, Zakk Wylde, for 1989's NO REST FOR THE WICKED. Wylde had been a lifelong Ozzy/Sabbath fan, and resembled Randy Rhoads both in appearance and in playing style.
While the album is not on par with such past classics as BLIZZARD OF OZ and DIARY ...
| | Ozzy Osbourne Ultimate Sin CD (1986) Germany; Remastered
Reign Forever World album
$9.99 Also available in a 3-pack with DIARY OF A MADMAN and BARK AT THE MOON.
Ozzy Osbourne's 1983 release, BARK AT THE MOON, revealed that keyboards were becoming an integral ingredient in his music. On his next release, THE ULTIMATE SIN, keyboards were used even more extensively, resulting in Ozzy's most commercially accessible work. Despite the fact that many longtime fans resented the album's pop-metal leanings, THE ULTIMATE SIN became Osbourne's fastest-selling album to that point. It was also the last Ozzy Osbourne album to feature guitarist Jake E. Lee.
The most renowned song on THE ULTIMATE SIN remains the popular video/single "Shot in the Dark." Other standouts included the anti-nuclear war tracks ...
| | Anvil Hard 'N' Heavy CD (1981)
Reign Forever World CD music
$13.49 Anvil's first album, 1981's Hard 'n' Heavy, may also be their most unique, since it actually predated the band's adhesion (and key contributions) to the up-and-coming speed metal movement, beginning with their seminal sophomore outing, 1982's Metal on Metal. Instead, Hard 'n' Heavy is a transitional record compiling the best fruits of nearly a decade's worth of club shows and basement woodshedding over long cold Canadian winters by inseparable pals Steve "Lips" Kudlow (vocals/guitar) and Robb Reiner (drums), plus, more recently, bandmates Dave Allison (guitar) and Ian Dickson (bass). In fact, prior to its release through Attic Records, Hard 'n' Heavy had already been put out independently under the group's discarded moniker of Lips ...
| | Anvil Forged In Fire CD (1983)
Reign Forever World MP3 Album
$13.29 The second of Anvil's two influential cult classics, FORGED IN FIRE essentially refines the blueprint laid out on METAL ON METAL, showing a band more firmly in control of its muse. Lips's vocal performance is more polished and varied, yet no less unhinged; the technical riffery of the uptempo numbers is even more challenging; and Robb Reiner delivers a jaw-dropping performance, pulling out his genre-changing double-bass-drum technique on nearly every song and never letting the record's momentum flag. Even with all the blistering intensity on display here, FORGED IN FIRE isn't the all-out assault of KILL 'EM ALL; Anvil lacked the darker visions of the coming thrash movement, clearly having too much fun to conjure a tough-guy image. The heart of the album lies in ...

Reign Forever World music CDs
$11.89 This Montreal ensemble's fiery debut is marked by surging guitars, soulful strings, driving drums, brilliant bass lines, and the quavering vocals of married couple Win Butler and Regine Chassagne. The group's song structures careen through a vast territory of musical and personal history, with lyrics warm with memories of childhood neighborhoods and deceased loved ones, resulting in an alternating current of joy and sadness.
Favorably compared to the Flaming ...
| | Silvertide Show & Tell CD (2004)
Reign Forever World songs
$7.59 Although this came out in late 2004, it wouldn't have had that hard of a time passing for a hard rock album of about 30 years earlier, other than for its use of some foul language that even the biggest hard rock acts had a hard time getting through the censors back in the 1970s. In places the sound is very much in the vein of Aerosmith (for whom they've opened for on tour), and Nick Perri's vocals often ring with the influence of Robert Plant. Was it something ...

| | Elizabeth O Holy Night CD (2007)
Reign Forever World album
$6.69 "Elizabeth", the latest singing sensation from Tulsa, Oklahoma, is comprised of Bet Wallace and her daughter, Ashtyn. They share the same middle name, Elizabeth, which means, 'set-apart', "Consecrated to God" or "dedicated to God". The Wallaces have each been singing their entire lives but didn't start singing together until Ashtyn's junior year in high school. Ashtyn was already singing her heart out at the age of three when she could sing all the lyrics to all the songs from Les Miserables. As she grew up she sang and acted in various musical productions, and during high school, Ashtyn sang with the four-girl singing group, American Girlz. The girls traveled extensively and performed over 200 shows in a two-year period. During that time Ashtyn wrote and helped arrange several songs for their CD, American Girlz, Live! The girls were also featured on the first Tulsa's Best and Brightest CD. Ashtyn now resides in Nashville where she is pursuing a career in the music business and is currently working on a demo CD. Bet Wallace has been singing and performing her entire life, as well. From her first performance of 'O Holy Night' as a nine year old at the Christmas Eve service at a church in Oklahoma City, to her current position as a worship leader in a large church in Tulsa, OK, Bet has sung in many different musical genres, and in all types of musical settings, her favorite, of course, being with her daughter, Ashtyn. She previously released a solo album, What Wondrous Love, and had a recording contract in the 70's ...
