Zombie Lake Movie Review Average Rating: (2 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews Ugghh...'Nuff said! I agree with most. This was horrible. Hickies of death may have been more appropriate. The effects and makeup was brutal. Storyline was nothing. The only thing good was the picture on the CD cover. Submitted by ktbusch (Winnipeg, MB, Canada) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
not as bad as i thought to me the only thing missin from this flick was gore...if it would only had gore,,i could have really liked this one,.like the review said ,it wasnt bad but it wasnt good..the naked chick at the begining was one of the most beautiful woman i have ever seen and then it showed about 10 more naked chicks which all were beautiful,,the story was good but just didnt hit the mark because no gore,,,but then again it was euroshock flick ,and made in the 80s.. for 8 bucks just seeing the naked girl at the begining was worth it ,i think the cover is very cool i really try not to go by the reviews i read until i see it fr myself..i love a lot of movies that others hate, because i appreciate them for what they are..most people judge every zombie flick by romeros triology and i just dont do that..cmon is zombies taking over a shopping mall really a great plot...i dont think so but its still one of the greatest movies ever made...why,,,, only because of the gore....if this movie had gore it could be good to.. A seemingly silent zombie Love Story film It was a valiant effort with lovely naked ladies and beautiful french village scenery but very little plot, I liked it because the male zombie soldier was very sexy looking even in the makeup, it was almost a romantic zombie movie, it would have been most effective as a silent film because of the expressions and gestures of the handsome lead zombie as he tried to protect his daughter and show her how much he loved her.
it was not a bad movie but not a really great movie either. Submitted by Neffuri (Montgomery, Alabama) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

COMPLETE CRAP This movie should be locked away, and forgotten about. The effects were crap the acting was crap, and the story was crap. Hey I like naked women as much as any man, but to substitute the lack of a good plot for nudity doesn't make the movie good. DON'T WASTE MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF CRAP. $14.55 This World War I mystery finds limitless beauty in the nostalgia of loss. Directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, whose whimsical AMELIE riveted audiences, A VERY LONG ENGAGEMENT also stars Audrey Tautou--the 21st century's Audrey Hepburn--in the stubbornly emotional role of a widow in denial. Here she is Mathilde, a waifish young woman with a pronounced limp from childhood polio. Living with her quirky aunt and uncle in a farmhouse by the sea, and waiting desperately for her fiance Manech (Gaspard Ulliel) to return from the war, she believes that if he were truly lost she would feel it in her heart. Thus, when the bad news arrives--Manech and five fellow soldiers were exiled to No Man's Land for shooting off their own fingers in hope of being discharged--Mathilde refuses to believe he is dead. Instead, she begins her own investigation into Manech's infantry, hiring a private detective and tracking down the wives and girlfriends of each of Manech's compatriots. Conducting countless interviews, ...
