 There may not be a better band out there!
The Pernice Brothers have done it again! This second LP finds the band on the same glorious, melodic path, but this time they pick up the pace just a bit. 'Working Girls (Sunlight Shines)' starts out the album on a sunny, catchy note. 'She Heightened Everything' is another sweet ditty whose melody and string arrangement just kill me. Most bands would do anything to have a song like this in their repertoire. And when that is followed by 'Bryte Side' and you hear the gorgeous orchestral interlude that hits in the middle of the song you wonder if this gift from heaven will ever stop giving. But it doesn't and you still haven't reached 'The Ballad of Bjorn Borg' and its achingly beautiful melody. This is a must buy--along with everything else this band puts together. Find a music store right now!
