another masterpiece by the metal god himself you have rob halford, ralf scheepes, ronnie james dio, and matthew barlow(iced earth), and of course then you have another one of the top metal gods ever the man himself
UDO DIRKSCHNEIDER, need i say more, udo,s vocals can take any heavy metal guitarist,s skills right up to the highest level, i love his rough sincere and wicked tone, i also love his guitarist. this cd kicks major butt, and is surely not going to dissapoint any metalhead out there.great mellodies and beautiful harmony all blend with udos voice as if they were destined to be put together for the sake of metal and head banging kind. i also recommend the best of udo and pretty much their entire catalogue, you cant go wrong with udo, this is metal in a way that you can only hear from udo, very inventive, check it out if your ready to let your ear drums be permanently damaged by the metal god himself udo.
sincerely from 1 metal head to another.

Accept: Udo Dirkschneider (vocals); Wolf Hoffman, Hermann Frank (guitar); Peter Baltes (bass); Stefan Kaufmann (drums). Producer: Accept. Reissue producer: Jeff Magrid. Recorded at Dierks Studios, Cologne, Germany in July & August 1983. Originally released on Portrait (39241). Includes liner notes by Don Raye. Digitally remastered by Joseph M. Palmaccio (Sony Music Studios, New York, New York). Audio Mixer: Michael Wagener. Recording information: Dierks Studios, Cologne, Germany (07/1983-08/1983). Photographers: Dieter Eikelpoth; Fin Costello; Gary Gershoff. Accept's most notorious album, Balls to the Wall was also their biggest commercial success. Following hot upon the heels of their creative breakthrough, Restless and Wild, you'd also be hard pressed to find a more sexually charged record in any musical genre. Its hysterically nonsensical lyrics notwithstanding, the legendary title track remains an irresistible, fist-pumping masterpiece that came to epitomize the modern, slow-marching metal anthem as it became known. And when paired with second single "London Leatherboys," it arguably constitutes the most blatantly homoerotic couplet in the history of heavy metal (eat your heart out, Rob Halford). "Fight It Back" is about as close ...

$13.49 In many cases, it is a waste of time for rock bands to re-record a bunch of older songs they are known for; unless the new studio versions really put a fresh or different spin on something, what is the point? But Thrash Anthems is among rock's more noteworthy albums of re-recordings. This 72-minute CD finds German thrash metal veterans Destruction revisiting 13 songs they recorded in the past, including a lot of favorites from the '80s. "Deposition (Your Heads Will Roll)" and "Profanity" (both respectable) are new songs, but every other track on this album (which was recorded in 2006 and released in the U.S. in early 2007) is a re-recording of previously released tunes -- and serious, longtime Destruction fans will recognize "Bestial Invasion," "Mad Butcher," "Curse the Gods," "Invisible Force," and other favorites that the band's 2006 lineup revisits. Although most of the songs are familiar, Thrash Anthems is not a best-of in the true sense; albums of re-recordings are not really best-ofs, and casual listeners would be better off with a true best-of by Destruction. Thrash Anthems is more appropriate for the truly serious, genuinely hardcore Destruction fans -- the folks who could never be satisfied having just one or two Destruction CDs in their collections -- and those hardcore fans will find that while these re-recordings don't necessarily improve on the original recordings, Thrash Anthems is not a bad listen at all. In many cases, the main difference between the re-recordings and the original versions has to do with ...
