60 minute Japanimation film. Th3e alien menace draws near, searching for the source of magic on Earth. One of the funniest animes to be released in recent years, MAGIC USER'S CLUB takes place in a world where the UN's forces have been defeated by a mysterious alien cylinder that has made its way towards Earth. For the last year, it has kept a watchful eye on humanity, doing no harm to any humans. However, the members of high school magic club, led by the guileless Takakura, have found that the aliens have taken an unnatural interest in them.
In these episodes, while the alien force continues scouring Earth for the source of its magic, the Magic User's Club faces more pressing issues. It seem the club has been struck by cupid's arrow as Nanaka professes her love for Aburatsubo and Akane helps Minawa with his female troubles. The feature film debut of Hayao Miyazaki (NAUSICAÄ OF THE VALLEY OF THE WIND, PRINCESS MONONOKE), THE CASTLE OF CAGLIOSTRO depicts one adventure of the master thief Lupin and his rough-around-the-edges gunman, Jigen.
