Blame it on the love of Rock and Roll
An excellent album filled with all of Bon Jovi's greatest hits. Bad Medicene, I don't like mondays (with Bob Geldof) and Dead or alive being particular highlights.

The best concert collection
Bon Jovi is just amazing when it comes to stage-live performances. Even if you just listen and not see him you can understand this from the contact with the public.

One Wild Night: Live 1985-2001 buy CD music CRUSH was nominated for the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Rock Album and "It's My Life" was nominated for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. When Jon Bon Jovi went into the studio to record his band's seventh studio album, he went from budding actor to Jersey rocker to remind the world where his bread-and-butter was. After the initial plan to team up hard-rock production gods Bob Rock and Bruce Fairbairn fell through due to the latter's death, an audition process was set up with alt-rock engineer Luke Ebbin (Splender) winning the job. The choice was a fortuitous one as here Bon Jovi updates its sound with a smattering of loops and impressive arrangements, without losing the pop crunch of its heyday. Along the way, Bon Jovi tips its collective hat to the teen brigade invading the charts and the glory days of "Livin' On a Prayer" (the talk-box laden, Max Martin co-written single "It's My Life"), while still writing songs about blue-collar characters full of optimism (the Springsteen-flavored "Two Story Town"). CRUSH also contains the requisite power ballads for Bon Jovi's starry-eyed female fans ("Thank You for Loving Me," "Save the World") along with glam (the Elton John-inspired "Captain Crash & The Beauty Queen From Mars") and grimy ("One Wild Night") rockers. Recorded at Sanctuary II Studio, New Jersey. Producers: Luke Ebbin, Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora. Personnel: Jon Bon Jovi (vocals); Richie Sambora (guitar); Michael Dearchin (background vocals). Audio Mixer: Bob Clearmountain. Recording information: Sanctuary II, NJ. Photographer: Olaf Heine. Bon Jovi: Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, David Bryan, Tico Torres. Additional personnel: Hugh McDonald (bass); Michael Dearchin, Melissa Russo, Meredith Russo (background vocals). ...

One Wild Night: Live 1985-2001 CD music This is a Super Audio CD playable only on Super Audio CD players. Conceived during the Japanese leg of the BOUNCE tour, THIS LEFT FEELS RIGHT went from mere acoustic re-workings of Bon Jovi hits to an entirely restructured approach, aided by producer Patrick Leonard and turned around in a mere 23 days. The results are a dozen songs literally reborn as practically brand new compositions, thanks to the use of some unique arrangements. "Livin' On a Prayer" gets basted with ethereal keyboard washes by David Bryan, while Leonard's actress wife, Olivia d'Abo, hops aboard and turns the song into a heartfelt duet. Plugged-in anthem "Keep the Faith" gets a nice twist, as its hard-pounding tempo is cast aside in favor of a subtle and soulful delivery, while Tico Torres' time keeping and the band's overall approach to "Wanted Dead or Alive" make it sound like a LED ZEPPELIN III outtake. Richie Sambora's deft wielding of his acoustic guitar can't be praised enough, particularly on "You Give Love a Bad Name," where his sharp slide playing makes it sound like an offshoot of Eric Clapton's UNPLUGGED version of "Layla." THIS LEFT FEELS RIGHT ends up turning what could have been a straightforward moneymaking venture into something special. Includes liner notes by David Wild. Greatest Hits W/A Twist + 2 New Songs. Producers: Pat Leonard, Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora. Bon Jovi: Jon Bon Jovi (vocals); Richie Sambora (guitar, background vocals); David Bryan (keyboards); Tico Torres (drums, percussion). Additional personnel: Olivia d'Abo (vocals); Hugh McDonald (bass).

One Wild Night: Live 1985-2001 album for sale Digitally remastered using 20-bit technology by George Marino (1998, Sterling Sound, New York, New York). From the first mega-chorus shout of the album-opening "In and Out of Love," it's obvious that 7800 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT marks an evolution from Bon Jovi's debut. The image got bigger and so did the sound. The album went gold, and a year later the band shot to the stratosphere with SLIPPERY WHEN WET. "The Price of Love" is a tight, well-written rocker categorized by its memorable Bon Jovi hook. "Only Lonely" is perfect pop metal with a great riff and even catchier solo. "Silent Night" is a true power ballad, before the term denoted the mandatory first single from every hair band. "Tokyo Road," the band's homage to far-Eastern pleasures, is a consistent live favorite. "The Hardest Part Is the Night" is a mid-tempo rocker that features a creative solo from Richie Sambora. Tico Torres lets loose on the skins on the blistering and gritty "Always Run to You." A mid-'80s crunchy metal riff combines with a polished keyboard-crafted instrumental frame of "Secret Dreams." Bon Jovi took melody and heavy rock to the next level on this thoroughly mature effort. Recorded at The Warehouse, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Engineers include: Larry Alexander, Obie O'Brien, Bill Scheniman. Bon Jovi: Jon Bon Jovi (vocals, guitar); Richie Sambora (acoustic 6-string, acoustic 12-string & electric guitars, background vocals); David Bryan (keyboards, background vocals); Alec John Such (bass, background vocals); Tico Torres (drums, percussion, background vocals). Additional personnel: Tom Mandel (synthesizer); Randy Cantor, Jim Salamone (programming); Rick Valenti, Jeaanie Brooks, Carol Brooks, Phil Hoffer (background vocals). Re-Mastered

One Wild Night: Live 1985-2001 CD music Digitally remastered using 20-bit technology by George Marino (1998, Sterling Sound, New York, New York). Bon Jovi's 1984 debut not only became a blueprint for the band's multi-platinum releases of later years, but a definitive work for an entire genre. Though scores of short-lived pop-metal bands rocketed to popularity on the success of this release, the time-weathered BON JOVI continues to stand out from the pack. "Runaway," with its infectious hook and keyboard work from E-Streeter Roy Bittan, was discovered by a New York DJ and gave the band some early exposure. "She Don't Know Me" is a catchy mid-tempo rocker. "Shot Through the Heart" turns the hard-rocking pulse up a few notches, with Richie Sambora letting loose on the kind of solo that would be copied by a plethora of L.A. bands. David Bryan's keyboards, an integral part of the group's sound, work nicely on the melodic rocker "Breakout." At a time when synthesizers dominated the pop landscape, Bon Jovi used them to gloss a heavy-rock foundation. "Come Back" shows the enormity of the charisma and emotion that Jon poured into his singing. BON JOVI is a great debut by a band in its underground, formative stage; a street album from a band hungry to make it. Recorded at The Power Station, New York, New York. Engineers: Scott Litt, Jeff Hendrickson, Larry Alexander. Personnel: Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora (vocals, guitar, background vocals); David Rashbaum (vocals, keyboards, background vocals); Alec John Such (vocals, bass guitar, background vocals); Mick Seely, David Grahamme (vocals, background vocals); Tim Pierce (guitar); Roy Bittan (keyboards); Huey McDonald (bass guitar); Frankie La Rocka, Tico Torres (drums); Mick Seeley (background vocals). One Wild Night: Live 1985-2001 buy CD music "Misunderstood" was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal. While Jon Bon Jovi may not have much in common with the modern-day cowboys he writes of in his better-known songs, he and the band that bears his name are clearly the Comeback Kids. The mid-to-late-'90s found the band releasing lackluster fare, while 2002's BOUNCE brought Bon Jovi out of their slump. The album opens with pop metal bombast of a kind not heard since 1992's KEEP THE FAITH, as the band acknowledges the events of September 11th in "Undivided" and "Everyday." The crunchy, razor-sharp guitar playing and production on BOUNCE shines considerable light on Richie Sambora, who's playing gives any of today's newbie axemen a run for their money (especially on "Hook Me Up."). Building on that contemporary edge are collaborations with Andreas Carlsson (N Sync, Celion Dion) and longtime contributor Desmond Child. "Joey" is quintessential Bon Jovi storytelling, while "All About Loving You" and "Right Side Of Wrong" weigh in as requisite rock ballads. Recorded at Sanctuary Sound II, New Jersey. Producers: Luke Ebbin, Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Desmond Child, Andreas Carlsson. Personnel: Jon Bon Jovi (vocals, background vocals); Richie Sambora (guitar, background vocals); David Bryan (keyboards); Tico Torres (drums, percussion); Samuel Waermo, Luke Ebbin (programming). Audio Mixer: Bob Clearmountain. Recording information: Capitol studios, Los Angeles, CA; Sanctuary Sound II, NJ. Photographer: Kevin Westenberg. Unknown Contributor Role: John Kalodner.
