The Chicago-based singer-songwriter Edith Frost has carved out a niche for herself as a purveyor of fragile-sounding yet inwardly tough songs that leave ample room for reflection. Here, she's given a sensitive and sympathetic backing by an all-star lineup of Chicago indie-rockers, including Wilco drummer Glenn Kotche and Sea & Cake member Archer Prewitt, on a set that explores relationships and the shadows behind them, as well as the fears and dreams that lurk just beneath the surface of existence.

Belkis del Rosario nació en la ciudad de La Romana, Republica Dominicana, y desde muy joven empezó a servir en su iglesia natal.Su primer sencillo que la lanzó al canto profesional fue el tema "CUANDO LE CONOCI" canción que hoy se mueve hacia su tercera década de su lanzamiento. Luego siguió el álbum "HOMENAJE", con la canción del mismo nombre y de la cual Belkis es la compositora, en el año 1984. Este incluyó éxitos como "Ya no Vivo Yo", "Todo lo Tengo Ya" y "La Roca", verdaderas joyas de la música cristiana de ese tiempo. En tiempos de mas inocencia y genuina adoración a Dios cabe destacar que Belkis del Rosario se negó a aceptar un jugoso contrato de la afamada empresa SONY RECORD que la lanzarÃa como cantante secular, garantizándolo fama y fortuna, a lo cual la cantante le contesto con una canción cristiana que ella titulo: “NADA ME APARTARA DE MI SEÑORâ€, canción que esta incluida en su producción titulada: “NUEVAâ€. Belkis del Rosario ganó el primer lugar del Festival de La Voz Cristiana de su paÃs natal con la canción “Incapazâ€. Canciones como "Cuan Glorioso es Su Nombre", "Nada Me Apartara", y "Clama a MÃ' (las tres de su autorÃa) fueron entonces verdaderos éxitos cristianos del momento. La producción titulada "NUEVA", fue entonces otra joya de esa época, sin embargo, el epÃtome lo alcanzó con la canción "INCAPAZ", canción que en su momento rompió todos los records de venta cristiana del momento y llevó a la cantante a otras esferas internacionales de grandes conciertos y presentaciones. Belkis del Rosario se radico en Miami, desde donde llevaba su canto a América Latina y EU, y asà lograba impactar otras ciudades de Europa. Otras canciones como "Yo Te Daria", "Tenemos Poder", "El Cristo Viviente", y "La Fuente" siguieron la jornada de éxitos de Belkis del Rosario para la gloria de Dios. A la salmista Belkis del Rosario le pertenece el crédito de haber sido compositora y cantante de la canción “ME CONSOLO†la cual es la PRIMERA BACHATA-TROPICAL CRISTIANA del mundo.
