| The best Clockwork ever Clockwork Orange DVD for sale This new digital transfer is just amazing. While it is only 1.66:1 and non-anamorphic, the colors and textures are beautiful. The DVD's 5.1 surround sound is evenly balanced and even though the original soundtrack is absent, I was quite happy with this audio. The additional CD soundtrack is a nice bonus. | Truly Great Clockwork Orange film This is definitely one of the most controversial films ever made. Stanley Kubrick truly pushed the edges of cinema and made one of the greatest pictures ever in a Clockwork Orange. By Joey 34 (L.A California) This review is for a different format. |
| Disturbing but great movie! Clockwork Orange review Great cinematography, storyline is carried out well. Starts off being a disturbing movie set in a futuristic time, where a character named Alex DeLarge played Malcolm McDowell plays an imperious and ruthless punk who joins forces with fellow gang members Georgie and Dim, on nights when Alex gets away from home he gets together with them he goes on to commmit violent acts of thuggery, the more violent the better, brutality on bums, members of other gangs, people unlucky enough to meet their path and rape.
