A reporter searches for a vanished 1960's rock star who ran his car off a pier years earlier. Back in the early 1960s, Eddie and the Cruisers, a (fictitious) rock band, was the hottest act around. However, in 1964 the group broke up, following the apparent suicide of the band's charismatic lead singer Eddie Wilson, who drove off a bridge. His body was never found.

The more Maggie researches her story, however, the more she suspects that Eddie Wilson may still be alive...

Film was originally rated R by the MPAA and was re-edited to obtain the PG rating.

I thought this movie was just great. The music, you would just want to get up and start dancing. Also, there are some actors in this moving that are now big time stars. I really enjoyed this movie.

 Great movie but where's the second one
Great movie. Loved every minute, but I want so much to buy the sequel Eddie Lives here. I've been waiting for it to be on this website forever. Please bring it here.

I loved this movie. My husband also loved this movie and the music. Please Please bring out the second movie my husband and I would love to have the sequel as well.

This is the best Rock 'N' Roll mystery movie ever made!!! I'm sure that anyone who has ever seen it would agree with me. I only wish that they would release the sequel on DVD sometime soon, because I feel that it was as good as this one! Great Movie's! Great Music! Great Fun! That's "Eddie And The Cruisers"!
