In Torment, in Hell songs Product Information
In Torment, in Hell album for sale by Deicide was released Sep 25, 2001 on the Roadrunner label. Things get off to a pretty nice start as the title track to Deicide's seventh and final Roadrunner release, In Torment, in Hell, breaks out of its mid-tempo grind and into some traditional, inspired death metal double bass riffing. Bandleader Glen Benton (bass and vocals) certainly rates as high as usual on the cookie-monster vocal scale and guitarists Brian and Eric Hoffman are typically tight and large sounding. In Torment, in Hell CD music contains a single disc with 8 songs. ...See Full Description

||Not the Best|
This is definately not Deicide's best album. Glen Benton's vocals are muffled and most of the songs are sloppy, exept for a couple: Worry in the House of Thieves has a cool rhythm! I would recommend the following Deicide albums: 1) Serpents of the Light 2) Amon:Feasting the Beast 3) Insyneratehymn 4) Once Upon the Cross These four are much better.

||Sounds like they rushed this one out|
I love Deicide, but I don't like this album. It really sounds like the record company said "hey we need an album next week" and this is what they came up with.

||In Torment In Hell...|
The reason why this album is not one of Deicide's better efforts is because Glen Benton mentioned they rushed the writing, recording and production process to end their contract with Roadrunner Records.

Deicide - what more can I say?. With over 10 years of brutally destroying the name of Jesus Christ and pissing off anyone and everyone with a stick up their ass, this album is no exception.
