| By far, Diamond Dave's BEST solo album to date!!!
If you're looking for a fast-paced, super-sonic, bombastic, over-the-top, in-your-face, hard-rockin', fun-lovin' Diamond Dave album that's all about guns, guitars, bikinis, and fast cars, then look no further!! This is the album for you, ladies and gentlemen. As hard rock's favorite gigolo swaggers his way through the SMASH HIT title track, he gives us fans a taste of that familiar, flamboyant, big 80's sound with a hint of synthesizers mixed with big guitars that will make you truly soar! From typical-sounding, hard-rockin', head-bangin' tracks like "Lady Luck", "40 Below", and "It's Showtime!" to tunes with a little bit of that synthesized Dave-like experimentation that sound very laid-back and totally cool such as "Tell The Truth" (which makes you wanna ease back, kick your feet up, light up, and enjoy a smooth drink on the rocks), this album has it all. With producer Bob Rock at the battleship console, Diamond Dave at the helm, and a group of phenomenally fantastic musicians including Jason Becker on lead guitar (this guy can really move air, man!!), Steve Hunter on rhythm guitar & slide, Brett Tuggle on keyboards, Matt Bissonette on Bass, and Gregg Bissonette on drums, this polished, professional-sounding album combined with Diamond Dave's signature screeching definitely delivers the goods and will have you raving and raging for more!! Definitely Diamond Dave's best solo album to date!!
