Hollywood. Beverly Hills. Swimming pools. Movie Stars. These are the perils that Paul Hogan faces in "Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles." Hogan stars once again as the beloved Mick "Crocodile" Dundee, while Linda Kozlowski returns as his partner Sue Charleton in this third installment of the widely popular comedy series that takes the unsuspecting adventurer into the wilds of Southern California. Accompanying Mick and Sue this time is their young son, Mikey. From the opening shot of a JURASSIC PARK-esque reptilian eye, you know you're in for a wild ride. As Mick "Crocodile" Dundee (Paul Hogan) sits in a canoe sharpening his famous knife, a monstrous croc hides somewhere in the deep. Suddenly, it attacks, tearing Mick's boat to pieces and leaving him and mate Jacko (Alec Wilson) up a tree. Life for Mick can only get easier, right? When Mick arrives at home, he discovers longtime companion Sue's (Linda Kozlowski) newspaper-mogul father has called, and needs her help on an article at the paper's Los Angeles branch. Mick, who recognizes his importance in the modernizing bush is now no more than as a tourist attraction, agrees to join her, and together Mick, Sue, and son Mikey (Serge Cockburn) head for the wild country of L.A. Here the adventure truly begins, as Mick and Jacko brave a cowboy bar where the horsemen are of a different color, and a Hollywood film party where everyone seems interested in Mick's mate Malcolm "Mal" Gibson's colorful exploits. Soon, Sue's article leads to a sleazy film producer, so Mick gets a job as a monkey wrangler at his studio, where his investigation uncovers some very sketchy goings-on. Once again, "Crocodile" Mick with his dazzling wit puts the noble back in savage. Crocodile Dundee In Los Angeles Movie Review Average Rating: (4.7 out of 5 stars) The perfect topper to the other Dundee movies! Paul Hogan is a terrific actor and all his Dundee movies have been great. This is a perfect ending to them! Submitted by CricketNC52 (Parkton, NC) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
An enjoyable piece of entertainment Better than Crocodile Dundee 2. This takes a fresh and humorous approach, full of laughs for all ages. If you enjoyed Crocodile 1 or 2 then you will find this a must have. It is not often that a sequel outshines it predecessor, but they got this one right. hoges' croc snaps back! I may have been the only person in the world who was anticipating Croc 3! Don't ask me why, I loved the original (its a classic) and the sequel (a solid follow up) and after 13 years I thought Paul Hogan would still have the goods. I think I wanted this movie to be better than it actually was. There are some great funny sequences like Mick and Jacko ordering from Wendy's and there was some real stinkers that fell flat, like Mick and Jacko crossing the road. If you liked Croc I and II, there's a good chance you'll like this. Hoges hasn't changed his outback character at all, he's still oozing charisma, and with great supporting characters like son Mikey and mate Jacko, it makes the experience a little better. | | Ozzy Osbourne Ozzmosis CD (1995) Remastered
Crocodile Dundee In Los Angeles video
$7.59 Let us all be thankful that Ozzy's retirement didn't stick. It supposedly lasted for three days, after which he got bored and started working on this project. Heavy, riff-intensive tunes, progressive song structures and a little psychedelia give OZZMOSIS a definite Sabbath flavor. Ozzy must have been in touch with whatever inspired early classics like PARANOID and MASTERS OF REALITY. Witness the extremely chunky "Thunder Underground," which can stand up next to "Sweet Leaf" and "Symptom Of The Universe" as an archetype of hard rock. The trippy guitar in "Ghost Behind My Eyes" and "Denial" are not some young Ozzy-wannabe going for a retro sound--this man was there, "Planet Caravan"ing.
Still, this heavy metal daddy in touch with his roots is also hip to the genre's latest sound. OZZMOSIS has a live, up-front feeling, thanks to producer Michael Beinhorn (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden). Zakk Wylde's huge, raw guitar also plays a major role. He provides scorching solos, lush textures and juicy ...
