jackson 5 Hello, all CD's were absolutely mint! Thank you very much! By Philipp.Zehrer (Germany)
At Their Vibrant Best I was given this album in the 70s by my cousin when I was a kid. It had a groovy cover from the TV show and only the first 8 tracks that this CD has. By Les C (Sydney, Australia)
Classic J-5 This is the Jacksons just as they were becoming famous. Their innocence is evident in this double album set. The live songs and a comedy skit make this a must for any collector. By edborden (Trenton, NJ)

Dragon Hell And Back CD (2004)
Goin' Back To Indiana/Looking Through The Windows album for sale In the opening bars of his second record, HELL AND BACK, Ruff Ryders crew member Drag-On boasts than he's "here to perfect rap." Although he might not literally come through on such claims, he soon drops a line like "my songs are deeper than death itself," followed by some similarly dark and off-beat musings, showing that he possesses a certain right to his cockiness.
Drag-On's languid drawl, raw fury, and unconventional phrasing has earned him frequent comparisons to his mentor DMX, but on closer inspection, his less gruff delivery and more nuanced lyrics prove the young rapper operates outside the big dog's shadow. On this collection, he shows his ability to hit hard as on "Feel My Pain" or playful, as on the colorful grammar of "Bang Bang Boom," featuring a solid turn by Swizz Beatz. Through the course of the album, almost the whole Ruff Ryder family (including DMX) drops by, with Drag-On bringing out the best in his collaborators in each case. HELL AND BACK certainly doesn't reinvent rap, but it does showcase the coming of age of a sharp and unusual MC.

Paul Mccandless Shapeshifter CD (2004)
Goin' Back To Indiana/Looking Through The Windows songs The chemistry within the quartet contributes to the exciting feel of the session; and this is particularly true of the rapport between McCandless and Lande, whose exchanges crackle and scintillate throughout. SHAPESHIFTER is aptly named--stylistically it ranges all over the map, encompassing blues, impressionistic idylls, avant clatter, and sinuous, soothing light jazz. There is a little something for everyone here, putting SHAPESHIFTER alongside the best of McCandless's work.
Leader and reed player Paul McCandless teams with pianist Art Lande, bassist Peter Barshay, and drummer Allen Hall on this excellent post-bop date. McCandless was a key component of the popular, long-running jazz fusion group Oregon, and the sense of openness and experimentation that characterized the best of that ensemble's work is here. As a musician (he is heard on several instruments here, most notably soprano saxophone) McCandless incorporates Indian and African motifs, elements of free jazz, and ambient colorings, yet his overall approach on SHAPESHIFTER is full of edge and vigor.
Personnel: Paul McCandless (bass clarinet, oboe, English horn, soprano saxophone, tenor saxophone); Art Lande (piano); Peter Barshay (double bass); Alan Hall (drums).

Kash Killion Lost Legacy Of The Cello Kash Killion & Killion's CD (2006)
Goin' Back To Indiana/Looking Through The Windows CD music Kash Killion was born In Alton, Illinois, Miles Davis' home town. Kash was raised listening to jazz in the fertile music scene of St. Louis. He was first drawn to clarinet, then voice, flute, electric guitar and electic bass. Kash started performing at age ten. Today he still continues to be a multi-instrumentalist perfecting a multitude of string instruments from all over the world.
Through high school he worked in doo-wop, funk, soul, rock and church groups. In 1974, he entered college and studied classical contrabass. Soon he also studied violin and cello. Kash moved to LA in 1976, where he attended City College. Piano giant Horace Tapscott, became Kash's mentor and he played bass in Tapscott's Arkestra. Drummer Billy Higgins was also part of that scene. This association with Tapscott's Arkestra rekindled Kash's vision for straight ahead jazz. Kash has played with straight ahead players like Donald Byrd, George Cables, Billy Higgins, Bobby Hutcherson, James Newton, and Billy Bang. Kash's interest in avantgarde jazz was ignited by Sun Ra in 1978 and further heightened by playing with Pharoah Sanders. In LA, Kash has played bass as his primary instrument, but became more interested in cello when he moved to the Bay area in 1987, he switched almost entirely to cello, because of the freedom to use it in roles as diverse as a horn, or a guitar or a bass.
Kash has played extensively in world music circles with such icons as Cecil Taylor, John Zorn, Julius Hemphill, Reggie Workman, Sun Ra, Butch Morris, Paul Murphy, Glen Spearman, Tom Waits, India Cooke and George Lewis. Kash has a deep interest in world music. He has studied with the great Indian musician Ali Akbar Khan and recorded with his orchestra. Kash has also studied sarangi with Sultan Khan. He has also recorded Afrocuban music with several salsa groups. He has composed for both dance troupes and poets including Amiri Baraka, Alice Walker, Quincy Troupe, Shirley LeFlour, Gregory Hines and Jessica Hagdorm.
Kash has a BA in composition and performance from Antioch University and has taught through the San Francisco Symphony Program "Every Child Can Learn" , and throughout the Bay area and Los Angeles. He teaches all string instruments: bass, violin, viola, guitar, cello, piano and composition. He also teaches string instruments from India including: Sarangi, Esraj, and Dilaruba. His lecture demonstrations have been given at several Universities.
Kash is also a Luthier for bowed instruments and has worked in several violin shops. He works privately on commissioned restoration projects of numerous bowed instruments and Indian instruments.
