| nascar heat not that cool This game is good for racing but isn't nearly as hard or challenging as GT3. Road courses are tough to judge speed into turns. Its a good game but i'd only give it a 6 out of ten. By a reviewer (sacramento ca) |
| Good, but not as good as its sequel. For anybody else, like me, who hates the way the EA NASCAR games handle, this is pretty much your only choice. It may not have all the drivers and options you will find in the later EA games, but it controls very nice. The difficulty is set so you can pick up and play the game very easily and then adjust it to however hard (realistic) you desire. Its sequel Dirt to Daytona never made it to the XBOX, so this remains the best NASCAR game for the console. By Mike (Raleigh, NC) |
| no good i hear people say that nascar heat 2002 is better than nascar thunder and they are just wrong... thunder is way better like with more cars and drivers and the graphics are cool... there is more detail in the cars than heat... oh yeah... whose still making videogames... nascar heat or EA's nascar thunder series... lol. | One of the best I own two race cars and race every week. This game is by far is in the top two for realism. anyone who says this game suks isn't a racer. Just a gamer that cant drive. If you want to learn about car set up and handling. This is a great game. By bill (Richmond, VA) This review is for a different format. |
