'80s Pop Hits is a three-disc set from Sony with a heavy emphasis on ballads, many of which continue to be played on adult contemporary radio stations across the U.S. The relatively upbeat material -- like Wham!'s "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go," Toto's "Rosanna," Luther Vandross' "Stop for Love," and Deniece Williams' "Let's Hear It for the Boy" -- tends to be safe enough for waiting-room listening. This is a great CD

I had been looking for a pure 80s pop hits album. The problem I had with other similar 80s albums was that they included only a few real hits, thus most songs were not even worth remembering. but this album reflects true spirits of 80s. thank you.

A Good Cross-Section of 80s Hits
34 of the 40 songs on this collection were top 10 hits, while only one failed to crack the top 40. They also cover the decade pretty evenly, with every year represented. Even if you own several other collections of hits from this decade this 3-disc set will almost certainly fill some holes in your collection. Recommended!
