This is by far the best DT Show ever recorded. There is no doubt that Jordan is the perfect edition to the band. I hope everyone will enjoy it like I had.

||Almost perfect ! ! !|
I am a musician for about 15 years and I believe that this new piece of work from Dream Theater gives all the live power of this group. I believe that they will have more great appearances in the future where their budget will be much bigger. They play perfect as the great VHS I show before 2 months but there are some parts from the studio with no doubt. But tell me something. Which band don't make illustration produces in the studio?Noone. I believe that the average level in Finally free and the different end of this song makes me believe that they made some shortcuts on the studio and played again. I am a great fan of Dream Theater and I am at the official fan club. I listen to their music since 1993 so I believe that I can have an opinion about their great beyond my words Live. Passion on stage,Great Feeling,unbelievable progressive sessions,and great lyrics are some of their abilities LIVE. A must for all the fans and a great retrospective for some people that would like to have something from Dream Theater.

||One of the Best Live Albums Ever|
As a music collector I would say that I have all the great Live Rock albums around, you know what I am talking about, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, UFO etc. etc. So after listening to Live Scenes From N.Y. I was totally knocked out, I have the Video of the show but what you are getting in this 3CD set is the whole concert. We kick of with the complete Metropolis 2000 album, perfect - note for note, this is a great album and performed live it sounds even better, one of the high points was the John & Teressa solo spot, great guitar playing with soaring vocals. Once the Metropolis set is finished we are treated to a back catalogue with classics that include Met Pt1, Another Day, The Silent Man and in its entirety, A Change Of Seasons. On the 3rd CD there is a CD-Rom set, a nice touch, with Another Day and a Jordan Rudess keyboard solo + links to the web site. What we have are a professional band of musicians performing at their peak. I have my ticket bought to see them in London next year, judgeing by this Live performance it is a taster of what is to come. So as I stated I have all the classic Rock Albums and this one goes straight to the Top. .

||Great Live album from the masters of Prog Metal|
Dream Theater has done it again. They have put out a great representation of their live show, and at a discounted price no less. I was expecting to pay a lot more for this 3 CD set, but Dream Theater stays true to their fans and released a masterpiece for under $20.00. The band is tight and sounds like their having fun on this album. I would have given this 3 cd set 5 stars if it wasn't for Mike Portnoy's awful backing vocals. I am starting to long for the days (Images and Words and Awake) where James LaBrie handled all of the vocal duties live. Please Portnoy.... shut your Mike off (no pun intended).
