 Good Sound - Dull video clips
For long time Martina McBride-fans there's little new on this her first DVD. Of the 11 videos/songs 7 have been culled from her first 3 albums. So this is really not a cross section of her entire career so far. Something's missing from the last 3-4 years with only one new song "When God-fearin' Women Get the Blues" included on this DVD. Put the disc in your DVD-player and forget about the interview footage as well as the videoclips and enjoy the music and singing in Dolby Digital 5.1, which is a great improvement on the one-dimensional stereo format of her first albums. McBride has a big and beautiful voice and she is very shrewd in her choice of material relying heavily on songwriters like Matraca Berg & Gretchen Peters. Her cover of "Independence Day" is still a favorite of mine. With the possible exception of Gretchen Peters herself, Martina McBride is the only artist who is able to interpret her compositions in a personal way. The next logical step for McBride would be a live recording, taking advantage of the options that the DVD configuration offers in quality sound reproduction.

 great DVD
We can not receive CMT in Europe so a video collection like this, keeps us more involved by country music. Martina McBride as a very good and good looking singer with the best video's she ever made is awesome and very nice to look at. Hopefully more country stars will follow and compile all their best video's on one or more DVD's. Just for all the people who cannot watch it daily.
