99 minute feature film DVD. Betrayed by everyone closest to him, Henry awakens one morning to discover he has lost his identity...both inside and out. Henry Creedlow (Jason Fleming) is everyone's doormat. His wife is cheating on him. His boss (Peter Stormare) belittles him time and time again. His best friend is secretly taking his money. And Henry does nothing about it. One morning, he awakens to find that his face has been replaced by a featureless white mask, erasing all traces of his recognizable self. With no one able to identify him, Henry decides it's time to pay back those who have continually done him wrong! From horror master George A. Romero (DAWN OF THE DEAD), BRUISER is a creepy examination of the loss of identity. Bruiser Movie Review Average Rating: (4.5 out of 5 stars) Brilliant . A must for suspense viewers. Submitted by a reviewer (united kingdom) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Welcome Back, George! Following a much anticipated Canadian film festival release, now we in the States can enjoy the latest film from horro-meister George A. Romero. Bruiser follows the tribulations of a man who basically gets the shaft his entire life. His wife hates him cheats on him, and stealing money from him. His best friend is screwing him out of money, and his boss is screwing his wife. When one day he wakes up with no face, its payback time, baby!! An amazing, suspense-packed thriller, Bruiser combines Romero-like gore with a surprisingly tender underlining. Backed by a scorching soundtrack and guest appearences by the Misfits, Bruiser delivers. Check out the Misfits music video included on the menu screen: Romero directed it...can you tell? $12.85 The third chapter in the saga that director George Romero started in 1968 with NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD moves the story further along the timeline of the zombie apocalypse to a time when survivors are few and far between. At an underground Florida research station, Dr. Logan (Richard Liberty) conducts grotesque experiments on captured zombies to search for a way that the living and the living dead can cohabitate. Begrudgingly sharing the facility with the doctor is military man Rhodes (Joe Pilato) and his underlings. Scientist Sarah (Lori Cardille) and her fellow survivors seek refuge at the compound just in time to see a clash between Logan and Rhodes reach a critical turning point.
DAY OF THE DEAD stands as the most controversial film in the series. While some feel that its confined, talky nature prevents it from achieving the constant white-knuckle thrills of the previous two films, others admire its strides toward figuring out what drives the zombies. Regardless, the third act features the most extreme and well-executed special effects in the series, with several gory sequences that will leave an undeniable impression on those who witness them.

$9.69 Picking up where NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD left off, and still offering no explanation of why the dead are walking the earth, DAWN OF THE DEAD plunges headlong into one of the most violent and original horror films ever made. After securing an apartment building overcome with flesh-eating zombies, two Philadelphia area SWAT team members, Peter (Ken Foree) and Roger (Scott Reiniger), flee to a television station, where they escape in the station's helicopter with Francine (Gaylen Ross) and Stephen (David Emge), two station employees. Seeking refuge from the zombies and the ensuing hysteria, they land on top of a Pittsburgh area shopping mall, despite the fact that the undead seem to be flocking there. What begins as a stop for supplies becomes a longer stay as the four become embroiled in a futile war within the mall to keep their flesh to themselves and remain alive.
The film's relentlessly disturbing and innovative gore effects are one reason to see DAWN OF THE DEAD, but those who can stomach the endless barrage of blood and gnarled zombie faces will ...

$9.69 Filmmaker and leftist activist Michael Moore asks some serious questions as he probes the depths of America's trigger-happy gun culture in the insightful and amusing documentary, BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE. Guns in America are used to kill an average of more than 11,000 people per year. This death toll is obscenely out of balance with other first world countries, which generally average a total in double digits. Experts and analysts have pointed to America's bloody history as a reason, but how does that explain the lower murder rate in Germany? Violent entertainment has also been fingered, but how does this account for staggeringly low numbers in Japan, home of the most violent entertainment video games on the market.
Moore's trademark comedic tone is razor-sharp as his quest leads him everywhere from Littleton ...
