When a Stranger Calls video this movie had some of the most frightening and suspensful scenes i have ever scene. The problem with the film is that we get to know the villian a little too well and i actually felt sorry for this character, he was a man who was most likely abused as a child and had no sense of how to fit in with the rest of society.

| The scariest movie I've ever seen
When a Stranger Calls film I love to be scared, and this movie did it. The irony of his being upstairs at the start of the movie and returning to say the same phrase to the babysitter after his imprisonment, "have you checked the children?",will scare even the die hard scary-flick fan.

When a Stranger Calls review This 1979 thriller horror classic is defiantly one of the most chilling hairs standing up on the back of your neck movies to date! If the first 20-30 minute doesn’t have you under the blanket screaming then you are defiantly NOT ordinary.
