Excellent performance of these sonatas.
You can see where and how Haydn was influenced by these sonatas of J. C. Bach's. They are beautifully played by Mr. Hoeren on a fortepiano made by Derek Adlam after an 18th Century instrument by Heilmann. The only drawback to this entire CD is that there isn't any further information about the instrument and no picture of it. That aside, a small negative definitely outweighed by these fine sonatas. A great addition to any collection!
