short bara no seidou review A must have for all malice mizer fans, to start of with. Painfully their last album. But one, with a strong karakter and ambiance to it.
Especially the intro and the second song you hear some baroq and classical influence. Some of the songs a very dramatic and melangolic. With a lot of use of the orgel, it is comparible with J. S. Bach if you like.
Other songs have a more sousing, walsh-sound to it. Like Mayanoka and Kagami. Its makes you want to wear a beautiful dress and dance around in an old cathedral.
Shiroi and Hakai no Hate both contain some dramatic guitar-sounds. Shiroi starts of with a orgel-part and flows over into a beautiful twin guitar.
Hakai no Hate, i say, is a bit over the top. Not such a great song, compared to the rest of the album. Still sounds great though, and still got his own strong ambiance to it.
Saikai no chi to bara is the last song on this album. One of my favourites. One of the most theatral songs on this album I say.
But these are just words. It would be a pity not hearing this.
This album, will take you by surprise. Like I said before, it has a strong karakter and it really sets an ambiance while listening. I have absolutely nothing like this album in my collection. Its surely worth buying.

$12.75 Converge's eighth studio album is packed with guest performances by kindred spirits from Massachusetts and beyond. "Effigy," one of four songs on the album that comes in under the two-minute mark, features Steve Brodsky and Adam McGrath of Cave In on guitar and that group's drummer, J.R. Conners, behind the kit. Uffe Cederlund of Disfear takes over lead guitar on "Wishing Well," while Steve Von Till of Neurosis sings on "Cruel Bloom" and Genghis Tron' Mookie Singerman does guest vocals on the seven-minute album closer, "Wretched World." But it's the core group that delivers the most astonishing displays of hardcore fury and progressive musical exploration ...

Bara No Seido songs
$14.29 Vern Williams and Ray Park were in the vanguard of the newly emerging bluegrass scene in the '60s, and although they were well respected within the bluegrass community, they were little known outside of it. They recorded a highly coveted four-song EP for Starday Records in 1962, as well as a scattering of other tracks that were later collected on the LP Sounds of the Ozarks, but the duo's studio output was minimal, which is part of what makes this pleasant live set from 1968 such a delight. Vern & Ray with Herb Pedersen: San Francisco 1968, recorded at San Francisco State College as part of the annual San Francisco Folk Festival, includes a young Herb Pedersen (banjo) and Howard Courtney (acoustic bass) joining Williams (mandolin) and Park (guitar and fiddle), and features a fluid bluegrass ensemble moving through an interesting set of genre standards. Although Williams and Park were both from Arkansas, they didn't actually meet until they found themselves living in Stockton, CA, which was hardly the bluegrass center of the universe, then or now. Like will eventually find like, however, and when ...

$12.25 ****NEWS FLASH**** Spice of Life is now being featured on smoothjazz.com, risingstarradio.com and smoothjazzexcursion.com. The album is also in Phase I of a national radio promotion campaign, and is being added to station playlists weekly!!! On Aug. 22, 2006 it was featured 3 times on Sirius Radio's Jazz Cafe (their smooth jazz channel)!!********* This is an album of contemporary jazz, Vince Madison style. It's in response to many requests for "something upbeat". As an artist, Vince felt a need to develop in a new direction as well. What you hear here is the marriage of those two desires. Spice of Life marks a new direction for Vince. His melodic flowing piano style is still here, but it's augmented by a contemporary rhythm section and features sax and trumpet on select tracks. Listen for it on a smooth jazz station near you! Vince began his career as a guitarist. Then as a sophomore in college, he decided to master the piano, because it would be a better vehicle for his true passion, composing. Graduating with honors from Denver University with a music composition degree, Vince traveled to New York, where he studied further under Juliard instructor Bertha Melnik, and ...
