| What's...uh...the deal?
My least favorite Pink Floyd album. A few uninspired film soundtrack jams and a few good but not great songs. Highlights for me: "The Gold It's In The..." sounds like it's a Badfinger track. "Childhood's End" hints at the future of PF. "Free Four" is a fun song. The worst thing on this album: the second half of "Absolutely Curtains". Not a great album, but essential for the Pink Floyd fanatic.

This cd is awsome stoned or sober. From beginning till end. You would want to listen to it over and over.

| One of the better early floyd albums
OBC is slightly different from the later floyd albums , specially with no epic compositions.In that sense it is just another rock album not a floydian. But with david gilmour taking center stage with his guitar and vocals it still has the touch the band we know.Probably recommended for hard core floyd fans like me ;) who know and love thier style in and out.

| Revaluation
I think that this album must be more knowed by people who love the group, this album might be revalued, because the songs are surely not innovative as well as certain crazy tracks of Ummagumma, or the others first albums, which can be "albums of break"....with tre past music. But it's incredible that Obscured by clouds is not well apprecied, not only for the great melodies which are contained, but also for the rate of psychedelia on which Pink Floyd based the others post works.
