I got this game for my wife. She has Jak2 and Jak3, both of which are great games. I thought she would enjoy playing the first one and finishing out the trilogy. I was right.
What surprised me was that this game is still so playable even after the stellar 2 and 3. It is a classic.
If you have Jak2 or 3 and have been thinking about getting the original, go ahead. You will not regret it. Plus it is in the Greatest Hits collection and only $20.

A personal favorite!
The graphics are stunning, and the controls easy to learn, but the gameplay is interesting even to the gaming master. There is something new to be noticed each time through. I highly recommend this game and it's sequels to anyone!

This game wsa kewl and easy. I've beaten it fidy times. But I still want to finish the series since I've only played the first three games in teh series. I'd recommend it to peeps beginning to play on their playstations.

Jak And Daxter: The Precursor Legacy Hints Press L1 + CROSS. If you timed it correctly, you will go into a crouch position and spring higher that you would by double jumping. Do the rolling jump, then just as you touch the ground, press CROSS. You will jump as high as the double jump. After double jumping, press CIRCLE rapidly for a longer jump.
