Mouse Bradford has just arrived at Perkins Girls College, leaving behind her father, stepmother and the small town where she grew up. Her two senior roommates, the striking, sharp-witted Paulie and the charming and beautiful Tory, quickly adopt Mouse who has lost her mother. When Paula and Tori are found to be lovers, Mouse is caught in the role of accomplice and confessor; and is left torn between her two friends. The story of three roommates at a private school for girls, LOST AND DELIRIOUS centers on Mary (Mischa Barton), who is shy and lonely, having spun on a downward spiral ever since the death of her mother three years before. But when she arrives at prep school and meets her new roommates, Pauline (Piper Perabo) and Tory (Jessica Pare)--fun, happy girls--Mary begins to open up. But just as Mary begins to come out of her shell, she discovers that her roommates are lovers, and, not knowing how to talk about it, she bites her tongue and is left feeling more isolated and alone than ever before. To complicate matters, Pauline and Tory break up. Tory insists that she likes boys. And Pauline becomes an emotional wreck--acting out and changing into a dangerously fragile time bomb. With its complicated plot, delicate issues, and convincing adolescent characters, LOST AND DELIRIOUS is a powerful and disturbing look at first love. The first English-language film from director Lea Pool, the film is based on the novel THE WIVES OF BATH by Susan Swan. Theatrical Release: JULY 6, 2001 (NY/LA)

Lost And Delirious Movie Review Average Rating: (4.3 out of 5 stars) I LOVED THIS MOVIE !!! I FIRST HEARD ABOUT THIS MOVIE FROM A FRIEND OF MINE AND AT FIRST I DIDN'T THINK I WOULD LIKE IT BUT AS I WATCHED THE MOVIE I COULD UNDERSTAND AND RELATE TO WHAT PAULIE (PIPER PERABO) WAS GOING THROUGH BECAUSE I WAS IN A VERY SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP WITH SOMEONE WHOM I REALLY LOVED AND THAT KIND OF INTENSE HEARTBREAK THAT SOMETIMES HAPPENS WHEN YOU LOVE SO STRONG THAT NOTHING CANNT BE UNDERSTOOD BY SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER GONE THROUGH IT . Emotional Rollercoaster I had never seen anything on this movie until I saw the preview for it on another movie and I was totally blown away. I immediately tried to find it and put it in the DVD player as I did get it. It starts off with Mouse's past and leads into a story of adolescents, friendship, love, desire, and heart-ache. It was one of the good lesbian movies and just like many of the others a bit of a tear-jerker. Submitted by Allgox (Jacksonville, NC, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
A must-see for fans of love An incredible and tragic story of starcrossed love and passion, Lost and Delirious will appear to anyone who loves love. Incredible acting jobs from Piper Perabo, Jessica Pare, and Mischa Barton. Perabo exemplifies the talent of an Angelina Jolie in the making. She captures the hearts of the viewers and keeps them. Jessica Pare is the perfect tragic hero. Together, the two make movie magic. Excellent film. Submitted by the_world_is_my_stage (MA, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Suspenseful, and Dramatic This was an awesome movie! I expected something much less out of it to be honest, but it was soooo good. You think you know what is going to happen, and then it turns on you. A great love story with a shocking ending. Submitted by freedypsgirlfriend (Valley Center, KS) Was This Review Helpful? Lost And Delirious film
$6.99 Lee Rose's four-hour miniseries A GIRL THING takes an intelligent look at women's relationships in the early 21st century. Made up of four individual stories, the film revolves around Dr. Noonan (Stockard Channing), a psychiatrist listening to the dreams and aspirations, longings and nightmares, hopes and fears of the contemporary woman. The first story, "It Don't Mean a Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing," stars Elle Macpherson as a successful partner in a New York law firm who cannot maintain a relationship with a man. After the worst double blind date of her life (the men are played by Brent Spiner and Bruce Greenwood), she feels drawn to the other woman on the date, Casey (Kate Capshaw), a successful advertising executive, and the two embark on a heated affair that complicates their lives. The second story, "The Three Sisters (Not That One)", stars Rebecca DeMornay, Glenne Headley, and Allison Janney as three sisters who are forced to spend a week in their recently deceased mother's ...

Lost And Delirious review
$10.49 Framed for murdering her lover, Carol Madison (Ione Sky) is forced to endure life behind bars in John McNaughton's GIRLS IN PRISON. Carol finds the going rough in the big house and eventually joins a gang run by two hardened convicts, Jennifer (Anne Heche) and Aggie (Missy Crider). Together they fend off the crooked warden and plan a daring breakout.
With a crackling script cowritten by legendary screenwriter-director Samuel Fuller, characteristically provocative direction by McNaughton (HENRY PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER), and steamy performances from Hecht, Crider, and Skye, GIRLS IN PRISON has all the ingredients for a sizzlingly good time. McNaughton takes his ...
