The California harmony pop quintet's debut album is an astonishingly varied concoction, with songs and stunning arrangements by some of Los Angeles' most creative talents (including Randy Newman, legendary singer-songwriter David Blue, and Van Dyke Parks) sharing space with Cole Porter and Glenn Miller classics and Doug Kershaw's Cajun "Louisiana Man." | when rock was fun i looked everywhere for thi for many years and was told that it was unavailable. what a great surprise to find it @cd universe. the sound quality is terrific and so are the liner notes. anyone who enjoys wonderful 4 part harmony and great musicianship should enjoy this disc.
