| A MUST FOR ANY GIGLI FAN
This disc is an absolute delight. The excerpts are in wonderful sound and Gigli's personality comes through. The audiences clearly love him. There are extended excerpts from Romeo & Juilliette, which he never commerically recorded. The aria from Manon is breathtaking. There are also two live Di Quella Pira recordinds from London in 1939. In the first Gigli is in merely adequate voice, in the second, he is in great voice and the audience reponds in a way that has to be heard to be believed. Do not hesitate, this disc is worth every penny.
