lesser known preist album I never listened to much 70's preist, but I bought this because it was cheap. I'm glad I did. Nobody ever mentions this one with Screaming for Vengeance or British Steel, but if it's not on par with those it's pretty close. By nick (somewhere in Kansas)
Mandatory JP The boys are trying to impress the new label or something here, as they're definitely up on the spit shine. Halford's voice is a marvel here, I'm not sure it was ever any better or more wide in scope. By a reviewer (Pierre, SD)
Another little heavy-metal classic. The band is directed towards the esotericism and records another of its best albums. An excellent album By dairikufour (cournon, france)
PRIEST SETS THEIR SIGHTS ON U.S.A CBS HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS IN STORE FOR THEM... METAL MANIACS UNITED TOGETHER FOR THIS BAND... HALFORD STILL HADNT GONE FOR THE LEATHER N STUDS IMAGE YET,HE WAS STILL LOOKING LIKE OLD DAVID BOWIE! By JOHNNY_VIP (LAS VEGAS,NV,89014)
| Creating a classic sound .70's Priest tends to be overlooked, and the most overlooked album from that era is probably this one. There is zero filler here, and just about every 80s metal band (well, except for hair band) took notes from this album (Slayer later covered "Dissident Aggressor" in '88, and they barely changed the song at all).
