"Pass The Courvoisier Part II" was nominated for the 2003 Grammy Awards for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group.
With his rough-hewn voice, edgy delivery, and hard-hitting lyrical scenarios, hip-hop icon Busta Rhymes has never been one to tread softly. GENESIS is no exception; on this album, Busta pretty much keeps to his strengths, spitting out tongue-twisting rhymes with an almost startling facility atop beats that are both texturally inviting and danceably funky. Despite his no-holds-barred style, though, there's more to Busta than thug-life/gangsta scenes. Anybody who can pull off a tune like "Pass the Courvosier" and make it a duet with P. Diddy no less, has obviously been living the high life long enough to know that hooks and accessibility are of equal import to the upfront style for which Rhymes is famous.

This Cd is unbelieveable. I was expecting very good stuff from this album, but it was better than good, this is laced with some out of the world good stuff. 19 songs with 1 intro, i would say songs 9 and 17 were the ones that weren't great, but they weren't bad. The rest are off the hook. Pick up this album!!!

this album was one hell of a album, and word if you hate Busta so much why are you listening to his music? I don't see you making any albums.

Busta Rhymes. What is there to say about this unique artisit that hasn't already been said? It is possible that he one of the greatest MCs of all time... if not the BEST. Every album gets better and better, and Genesis, does not fall short of anyone's expectations. Don't let my 4-star rating fool you - Busta spits some serious fire on this one. You have to check this one out for yourself to see what I'm talking about. This is a must have for any hip hop fan. Songs to check for: Everybody Rize, As I Come Back, Shut 'Em Down, Pass The Courvoiser ft. P.Diddy, What It Is Right Now ft. Kelis and Break Ya Neck.

Sergio Salvatore has the odd fortune of resembling child actor Fred Savage from TV's "The Wonder Years, " and that could have plagued the public's openmindedness towards taking him seriously as a major jazz talent, rather than just a cute novelty. Fortunately, deep talent has won out and the prodigy, now a teenager, has bloomed into a multi-faceted composer/performer. A true product of the 90's, he not only named his shift towards contemporary pop/funk oriented jazz after an internet term (Point of Presence being the point from which one leaps onto the world wide web), but he's sharp enough to figure out that he's bound to gain a larger audience by stretching beyond his straight ahead beginnings.
