| One of Fishburne's Finest
Laurence Fishburne's performance is flawless in this gritty urban tale of self-determination, redemption and hope. With a commendable supporting cast with the likes of Cicely Tyson, Natalie Cole and Bill Cobb, how could this movie miss? I first saw it on HBO and the minute they released it on DVD, I grabbed it.

| Pretty good (if your expectations arent too high)
Not the best movie of all time or anything but pretty good movie, a little like CAVEMAN'S VALENTINE but drama instead of thriller... If you liked movies like FRESH then you probably will like this too....

| UNforgettable, that is what it is
I was searching for music and this movie came to mind... Performance is intense and subtle in one. Saw this movie years ago, it remains one of my favorites and i am one of those people who have no one favorite thing- do not follow celebrities lives what have you no chills at the thought of seeing or meeting anyone -only people What iIenjoy is the art and Fishbourne along with cast is "unforgettable'.
