THE BEGINNING OF ALL THINGS TO END is an unaltered version of an early demo EP.
Reissuing rare tracks and early demos is a risky affair, especially in an era where studio proficiency and high production value have come to be expected. In the case of THE BEGINNING OF ALL THINGS TO END, the self-proclaimed "oxygen wasting losers" better known as Mudvayne felt compelled to make the contents of their KILL, I OUGHTTA demo available to loyal fans fallen victim to the scams of opportunist bootleggers. The edgy, raw ferocity of tracks such as "Cultivate" and "Some Assembly Required" are evidence of a developing metal band honing their craft, in the hopes of being discovered. Two remixes of L.D. 50 album track "Dig" are also included, as well as the blistering live tracks, "Central Disposal" and "Coal." "L.D. 50" is a disturbing industrial metal noisescape (compiled from the interludes on the band's full-length debut), with flown-in spoken passages that perpetuate a recurring theme of medical references and a repeating whispered chant that dares the listener with the phrase, "open your mind."
Includes liner notes by Mudvayne.

Mudvayne The Beginning of All Things to End Songs The Beginning of All Things to End Music Review Average Rating: (4.1 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews great cd! this was a great cd but I wasn't impressed with the dig remixes. Submitted by sean (kcmo) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
really good This is a really good Vayne Album It sounds a bit to much like Slipknot Disturbed and Korn but hell Mudvayne did the album so This album rocks My effing socks! Submitted by wyattpoole (osh, ont, can) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Akin to slipknot indeed... I'll have to second what alburytrice's review. With this album they definitely went downhill; I'd expect much higher standards of Mudvayne. Tracks included on this album emulate bands such as slipknot, static X, and perhaps even diturbed; not quite the dark heavy feel i was expecting. Lacking ferocity, albeit satisfactory all in all. Ahhh' good ol' Mudvayne I think this album is pretty much overrated.. it lacks uniqueness and lets face it, you'd expect more from a band that claims to be a big gun in the face of metal today. Although after a good 5 listens or so it wears very thin, tracks like "under my skin" do atleast some judgement to those metalheads who want to break things and act crazy.. but for those cheesy nu-metal faggots who were satisfied with slipknot, I reakon you'll like it. For those original thrashers looking for some new (not nu') metal.. try soilwork or something, coz this album sucks Submitted by AlburyTrice (Sydney, Australia) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

The Beginning of All Things to End
$6.39 This audio document of The Corrs' Dublin homecoming concert has pretty much everything fans of Irish pop could wish for, including an appearance from Bono in his earthly incarnation, fresh from an audience with President George W. Bush. It's to the band's credit that the charismatic singer fails to steal the show, despite creditable efforts via an anthemized version of Ryan Adams' beautifully ...

The Beginning of All Things to End
$12.79 Representing a classic case of delayed fame, Italian goth-metal act Lacuna Coil broke into the American music consciousness via a much talked-about showing on the Ozzfest 2004 second stage, nearly two years after the release of their third album, COMALIES. Similar to its American counterparts Evanescence, this European sextet features the dual vocals of Cristina Scabbia and her male counterpart, Andrea Ferro. Despite the liberal amounts of keyboards added to the mix, guitarists Cristiano Migliore and Marco Biazzi more than hold their own, pumping choppy riffs into the 1980s-sounding "Self Deception" and the simmering opener "Swamped." What makes Lacuna Coil so unique in an often musically conservative genre is the band's ability to dabble ...

The Beginning of All Things to End
$12.59 For reasons unknown, Rapster decided to say farewell to their innovative Beat Generation series, but they certainly went out in style -- the last one to leave was none other than the multifarious Madlib, the Beat Konducta. A 24-track strong mix album, WLIB AM: King of the Wigflip turns out the lights with nothing but Madlib productions (most of them previously unheard) and a range of friends and family providing the frequent vocal features. Similar to his Beat Konducta releases, this joint is all AM -- unlicensed, street-corner, low-power, community radio, with all the static and interference listeners have come to expect from the premier soundtracker of an alternate reality of radio programming.
