Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory DVD Vol. 1 - The Ultimate Weapon DVD

Ah, back to the UC story-lines. Many of you will disagree with me but I just really couldn't accept Gundams with wings ("feathered" at that) or cloaks (or is it a cape?). I'm glad that this series are devoid of "pretty boys", too(and you know what I'm talking about). Good solid, straightforward military story-line with a lot of honest, rugged Mobile Suit action. Audio offers 5.1 remix in both Japanese and English language tracks. Video is stunning! Comparable to the much newer MS 08th Team OVAs. Extras include creditless opening and closing, plus more entries to the MS Encyclopedia. Packaging, which most of us take for granted, is given a tweak. The cover is reversible, giving you an option to have a different display. AND finally, an insert which is actually useful! The foldout displays the UC timeline, covering the show from 0079 through episode four in 0083 - excellent reference for people who aren't terribly familiar with the UC "history".

 A vital link
This is a good link between gundam and zeta gundam. This is better then some of the wanna be gundam saga's out there. It explains how the titans came to be and what the zeon did as a response to the federation. It doesn't explain certain relationships in the story but nonetheless its good.

 If you love the UNIVERSAL CENTURY
This is a good link between mobile suit gundam and Z gundam. It has its flaws here and there but I say the original is better then what we have now.
