$14.69 On their third recording, the NSJE (not from Minnesota, the band is based in Providence, RH) present a pleasant mix of mainstream jazz-styled American popular standards. Romancing The Sax music CDs
$12.19 Having quit his longtime gig with the Rippingtons in early 1999 to focus on his own career, saxman Jeff Kashiwa's Native Language debut, Another Door Opens, is a true sink or swim proposition. Fortunately, he's not totally a babe in the woods; he has a legion of loyal Rippingtons fans who might be curious to check out his new stuff, as well as the smaller following of his own band, Coastal Access, built over preceding years while doing numerous gigs in Southern California. More importantly, the saxman brings two ...

By 1976, British singer/guitarist Peter Frampton was already a rock & roll veteran, a former member of the Herd (mid-'60s) and Humble Pie (early-'70s). After a few critically-acclaimed solo albums of melodic pop/rock, FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE was his breakthrough, one of the biggest-selling live albums in rock history, which spawned the huge radio hits "Show Me The Way" and "Baby, I Love Your Way." Accompanied by a tight, sympathetic band, and spurred on by an enthusiastic audience, Frampton rode the wave produced ...

Romancing The Sax CD music
$11.15 Theo: born and raised in NE Ohio.Puff the Magic Dragon captivated the desire to learn the guitar. Learned to play by crafting music and went forth to play in high school bands. Where Wetmore Park was the unofficial band home. Comprized of Jason "Butch" Kyer on Bass and Brian Hoff on Drums. After the frustrations of wanting to write music naturally led to the demise of the Wetmore Park, I soon hooked up with Tim and Barb McCoy to co-write a short EP entitled the Dalton-McCoy Effect. The Effect was a dark Floydian Meddles type sound with Tim on vocals and drums, Barb on Keys. After a fall out over a white Ibanez "Les Paul" I rigorously started practice with more original writings and tying into a cover band that was hard for me to hang with long. I put my efforts aside to tour with City Heat, a Cleveland based outfit, that gave me token monies for setting up and tearing down. I eventually ended up with the Chapel Band in Canton, Ohio with whom I performed with for a year. During this time I also joined with the Commercial Music Program at Malone College and performed with the Electro-acoustic Ensemble. Our performances where of professional staged production. We spent time in Copperhead studio where the Michael Stanley Band recorded. Copperhead is the Nicest studio I've seen or could dream to be in. I continued to write songs every month and wrote for favors and gifts. Over the summer of '95 I wrote some songs and asked Jim Leonard, a violinist friend, to accompany me. This was exciting since we listened to Jars of Clay's first CD recording that summer. We borrowed a mixing board and went to work recording with a drummer named Mike. We mixed in keys for the bass. The songs, "Little Ones" and "Uzziah Died" were recorded and shared with many who took well to our sound. I affectioantely refer to this as the Gideon Sessions. I was also able to record solo guitar work with another performer, John Graham, that came by to visit. When I met my future bride, I had naturally poured forth an acoustic instrumental that became our wedding march and was recorded at MCM Studio in Canton, Ohio. From there it has been writing on piano, keys, bass or what ever I could get my hands on. Keeping things simple is the track I'm on, so as to keep things palatable and recently have met some local musicians that are interested in musical pursuits. So, as I put my ear to the ground, I seek to build up Creation Groans studio (CGM) which was handed to me from a financial investment by a man that I had befriended and ...
