Dr. Orloff's Monster Movie Review Dr. Orloff's Monster DVD Melissa, an attractive Austrian college student, travels to Holfen to spend the Christmas holidays at the castle of her uncle, Dr. Conrad Fisherman, but the mood she encounters there is hardly festive. Her uncle's behavior is cold and furtive, and her Aunt Ingrid is perpetually drunk, trying to forget the night so many years ago when Conrad caught her making love with his brother Andros (Melissa's father) and murdered him. Melissa's chance discovery of a photograph of her late father, whom she never knew, awakens her curiosity about the past, just as Dr. Fisherman, a disciple of the mad Dr. Orloff, awakens the corpse of Andros as a human automaton with a high-frequency command to kill! This is the full length version with sequences shot especially for French audiences.

$16.75 Dr. Zimmer (Antonio Escribano) invents a mind control machine, and then dies from a heart attack after being insulted at a medical conference. His beautiful but deadly daughter, Irma (Mabel Karr), seeks revenge on the officials who stressed him out. At a club she sees the act of "Miss Death" (Estella Blain), a beautiful woman in a sheer body stocking whose act consists of seducing a mannequin in the center of a spider web. Inspired, Irma fakes her own death, performs plastic surgery on herself, kidnaps Miss Death, controls her mind via her father's machine, and then sends her out to seduce and slash her enemies with poison fingernails. Miss Death's boyfriend Phillip (Fernando Montes) and a sleepy police inspector try to find her before she kills again.
Director Jess Franco fills this wonderfully kinky Euro-horror gem with all sort of crazy angles, inspired dolly shots, and shadow-rich lighting. The sublimely avante garde music score ...

$13.55 This swinging spoof of Ian Fleming's spy hero features an aging James Bond (David Niven), reluctantly dragged out of retirement to chase down the evil crime clique called SMERSH. In order to confound the forces led by the villainous Le Chiffre (Orson Welles), the Secret Service enlists five other agents, also under the name "Bond," and all six converge on the titular casino. Meanwhile, Woody Allen, as the retiring secret agent's nephew, causes havoc at every turn.
The gleefully chaotic product of five directors, numerous screenwriters, and the late 1960s in general, CASINO ROYALE revels in its psychedelic spy satire premise. The comedy features a legion of stars in roles both large and small: Niven, Welles, Allen, Peter Sellers, Ursula Andress, ...
