Stillmatic album for sale Product Description
Stillmatic album for sale by Nas was released Dec 18, 2001 on the Columbia label. Contains the bonus track "Every Ghetto," which follows "What Goes Around." In 1994, Nas dropped his debut, ILLMATIC. Stillmatic CD music More than just a classic, it's perhaps the definitive East Coast street hip-hop record, bereft of cliché, rife with rich, inventive rhymes. His early coronation proved both blessing and curse, as his three follow-ups, while shining next to most platinum peers, never reached the ingenious heights of his introduction. Stillmatic CD music contains a single disc with 15 songs. ...See Full Description

| Return of the golden child Nas returns to his roots with Stillmatic. If he ever fell off it was with Nastradamus (But MF Doom released a good remixed version of that Nastradoomus you should peep). This album has a good focused mix of everything. The intro is one of the best album intro's I've ever heard. He not only outwits JayZ on Ether (I dont hate Jigga.. RD was dope and BP and TBA are hot as well..but you cant deny the truth), but lyrically crushes former QB companions Cormega, Nature, and Prodigy on Destroy and Rebuild. Rewind shows the depths of his lyrical storytelling talent. One Mic is one of Nas's grandest tracks yet though it borders on overplayed on the radio, but that and the other single God Yourself a Gun y'all already know are dope. Smokin' has a tight feel to it (though I sorta prefer the remix to it with the background bullet whizzing occasionally). 2nd childhood is dope. The Flyest is a great combination with AZ...though it ain't quite Life's a Bitch, and there was a better collabo with them on one of AZ's cds (bravehearts had done a remix to it but Jungles verse is the same as Zone Out from God's Son). Nas' brother may be a good gangsta but he ain't the best rapper, Wiz is decent..and Horse was probably the best of the three but he ain't on Braveheart Party..its tolerable though. And the last four tracks are really deep. So is it as good as Illmatic? No but its another classic going in the right direction. This, lost tapes, and God's Son brought Nas back to his peak street credit and definately fame he once had (I personally think I Am was a hot album too..though it gets knocked alot for the commercial diddy collabo track..) | DONT DO IT If your looking for a good cd thisis not the one. Nas has truly fell off with this garbage. Dont even waste yo money on this weak cd. It only got like 3 or 4 decent songs on the whole album. if you wanna get somethin tight get any album by Tech N9ne. He a rapper on a come up you should be able to get his cd's anywhere though. | NAS IS STILLMATIC Stillmatic is better than Blueprint and it's the best album of 2001 and he didn't get 5 mics for nothing. This is also Nas's third best album. By a reviewer (Natchez, MS, USA) This review is for a different format. |
