All This Time album for sale Product Description
All This Time album for sale by Sting was released Oct 10, 2000 on the Universal International label. "All This Time" was nominated for the 2003 Grammy Awards for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. ALL THIS TIME is the live album of Sting's performance in Italy on September 11, 2001. This import features two cuts left off the American edition--"Mad About You" and "Piece Of My Heart." On the day that the second live album of Sting's illustrious solo career (and third if you count the Police's 1995 Live! set) was to be recorded in Tuscany, Italy, the widely respected singer/songwriter/bassist was beset with one of the world's worst horrors of all time. All This Time CD music contains a single disc with 17 songs. ...See Full Description

Sting at the Movies I was looking fore this import and everyone else had an outrageous price fot it. CD Universe had the right price and immediate delivery. Thanks, CD Universe! By strongangel (Toluca Lake, CA) This review is for a different format.
A Very Unique Collection of Some of Sting's Best Not a very well-known cd, but definitely worth the price of admission. The haunting song, "I Burn For You" from the film Brimstone and Treacle, is a definite highlight. Most of the 17 songs on this disc are very hard to find anywhere else. I'd highly recommend it to any Sting fan. By tnnyscifi (Minneapolis, MN, USA) This review is for a different format.
Great toons The songs are nice and a little jazzy. Songs flow along great. By a reviewer (Ligonier,Pa,USA) This review is for a different format.
Thought, Professional & Jazzy Why did Sting stop recording music? It sure couldn't have been for a lack of ideas. This collection is absolutely, and purposely, authentic jazz and has some of real jazz's best qualities: high level musicianship & swing; yet lacks what many dislike about some jazz: superfluous complexity. The record definately swings and bops and even funks, without force or pretention. The song 'All This Time' purposely lacks the vocal dynamics and emotion of the original but gives a restrained boplicity. The highpoint of the set is an awesome arrangement of the Police classic 'Roxanne', alone worth the price of the disc. This is about as perfect a sound on a live jazz record as you'll ever hear. Of special note is, the always stellar, Christian McBride's bass work. By St. Davey (Windham, Me.) This review is for a different format.
