John Lennon & The Plastic Ono Band - Live In Toronto '69 film After this we got lennonn and Co, they practically improvised everything doing numbers they already knew cos they had no time to rehearse. All band members giving a decent performance individually cos they sounded awful as a band. Besides we have yoko's screamings all over the show. As an additional there is a brief interview with yoko in 1988, where she explains the origin of the name plastic ono band. So, if you're a hardcore lennon fan, a rock n' roll purist, or a yoko's screaming fan, this is the right choice for you.

John Lennon & The Plastic Ono Band - Live In Toronto '69 review Great vintage concert of Lennon on stage outside of the Beatles. Also shows a young Eric Clapton, although his guitar licks are buried in the mix. Highlight is a rare glimpse of Lennon as an "experimental" guitarist using controlled feedback ala Hendrix/Townshend during Yoko's last number. Very cool for a guitar "rhythmer" as John used to categorize himself.

John Lennon & The Plastic Ono Band - Live In Toronto '69 DVD for sale Great footage, great audio from Lennon's Toronto concert appearance near the end of '69. John Lennon & The Plastic Ono Band - Live In Toronto '69 movie Yoko Ono has kept this from having a 5 star rating from me. This is essentially the video for the "Live Peace In Toronto 1969" album, although the audio mix is slightly different than the album. The band consisted of John & Yoko, plus Eric Clapton (guitar), Klaus Voormann (bass) and Alan White (drums). Best things about this DVD? "Yer Blues", and the fact that Yoko's two seemingly endless songs can be skipped. Essential for the hard-core Beatles/Lennon fan. Probably essential for the Yoko fan!!!
