Piano Concerto 5 " Emperor " Product Description
Piano Concerto 5 " Emperor " by Beethoven / Giulini / Michelangeli / Vso was released Nov 02, 1987 on the DG Imports label. Here three Titian's- Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, Carlo Maria Giulini, and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra unite in one of the greatest performances of Beethoven's Emperor Concerto available. Piano Concerto 5 " Emperor " Michelangeli's unparalleled precision aided by Giulini and the Vienna forces lush support particularly in the outer movements is particularly astounding. Deutsche Grammophon's sound slightly favors the soloist though otherwise fully captures this extraordinary event famously. Piano Concerto 5 " Emperor " contains a single disc with 3 songs.

Piano Concerto 5 " Emperor " Customer Reviews
| Average Rating: | |
| Second after God This ABM's performance of the Emperor is pretty close to "the God only can replicate it" ABM's live CD from Helsinki concert on 20.5.1969 with the Swedish Radio Orchestra conducted by Sergiu Celibidache. After hearing and/or personally attending at least 20 ABM's Emperors, from 40s' to his death, I must say that this performance (although keeping the orchestra sound a bit muted; which only enhances ABM's "out of this world" qualities) is stupendous.
