Oh What A Night CD music
$11.69 COME ON HOME was nominated for a 1998 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album.
For much of his career, Boz Scaggs has taken the musical path of slick L.A. pop, culminating in his 1976 hit album SILK DEGREES. COME ON HOME brings Scaggs full circle to his first love of R&B and blues for the first time since his earliest recordings. Members of the famed Hi Records house band, Bonnie Raitt's touring band, and Little Feat's Fred ...

| | Very Best Of Deep Purple CD (2000)
Oh What A Night songs
$7.79 Digitally remastered by Dan Hersch and Bill Inglot (DigiPrep).
Rhino Records first attracted notice for its ability to assemble good, well-thought-out, best-of and greatest-hits compilations of acts who had enjoyed a chart placement (or two) without ever getting a proper hits package from their own labels; a little later Rhino started their "Very Best Of" series, which managed to be medium-weight but pretty thorough overviews of a lot of major acts (especially in R&B) from the past that needed a fresh look. But in 2000, when they released The Very Best of Deep Purple -- a band that needed no helping hand in the exposure area -- in conjunction with Warner Archives, that was something new for the company. And damned if Deep Purple and their fans, casual ...

| | Yukon Ryder Respect For The Cold CD (2003)
Oh What A Night album
$18.25 YUKON RYDER BIOStarting as an acoustic duo in the spring of 1997, Matt Tullar and Jon Dykstra debuted at the Marlin in Fairbanks, Alaska. Inspired by the original Yukon rider, Edward Jesson, who in February of 1900 rode his bicycle 1,000 miles in five weeks down the frozen Yukon River from Dawson to Nome they set out to make it big, or at least big enough to quit their day jobs. By the fall of 1997, they had lined up enough gigs throughout Alaska to employ them both full-time. In February 1998, they began recording with Allen Nielsen of Kat Tracs Studio in Anchorage. Jon relocated there in May while Matt continued the weekly 800-mile commute from Fairbanks racking up almost 40,000 miles that year. In September 1998, Yukon Ryder released their first CD, RESPECT FOR THE COLD, produced on their own Ryde On Records. ...

Oh What A Night CD music
$16.45 Scott Adams, WNUA 95.5Luiz Ewerling's new CD, "OUR EARTH" reflects his musical metamorphosis in the most personal of ways. Each of the eleven original tunes contributes to the unique, colorful palette of Brazilian song as envisioned by this transplanted rhythm master. And, as has been the case for many decades, the cross-cultural aspect of his country's music brings a fresh and enlivening sound to the world music scene.""A Cor do Brasil" features many of Chicago's best musicians: Keyboardist Steve Million, pianist and Harmonicist Howard Levy, saxophonist Steve Eisen, guitarist Ernest Denov, keyboardist Vijay Tellis-Nayak, keyboardist Jon Lindenberg, Brazilian guitarist Gustavo Dantes, bassists Krzysztof Pabian, Tom Mendel and Daniel Soberanes. Fellow percussionists Geraldo de Oliveira, Wesam Isho, Jose Gregorio Hernandes and Joe Randon complete the rhythmic framework that surrounds vocalist Temple Schultz, whose jazzy style swings on seven of the tracks. She also contributed several stunning translations, matching meaning and meter, phrasing and polyphony." "The recording ...
