| | Bill Evans Blue In Green CD (1974)
Invasion music CDs
$13.55 Recorded in Camp Fortune, Hull, Canada for Canadian radio in 1974 but not released until 1991, BLUE IN GREEN is a superb addition to the vast discography of jazz piano legend Bill Evans. It features his late '60s/early '70s trio: Marty Morell on drums and now-modern-bass-legend Eddie Gomez. The album features, for Evans fans at least, a somewhat familiar program: "What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life," Miles' "So What," "If You Could See Me Now," "Blue in Green." What makes this album ...

| | Fugazi Furniture CD (2001)
Invasion album
$8.59 Released in conjunction with Argument, Furniture is a three-song EP putting together older tracks that had yet to be put on disc. Running with similar consistency to the 3 Songs EP that preceded Repeater, these older songs still sound fresh. "Furniture," with its trademark Ian MacKaye call-response vocal, would have been quite comfortable on either of the first two EPs. The Guy Picciotto-led "Hello Morning" is reminiscent of "Break-In," while the driving instrumental second track, ...

Invasion CD music
$11.75 In 1993, Ice Cube released his third solo album, LETHAL INJECTION. By this time, the dominance of the West Coast rap scene had started to fade, as East Coast hip-hop artists like the Wu Tang Clan and the Notorious B.I.G. started to pull listeners away from the left coast. Hanging tough, Ice Cube released another masterful performance with LETHAL INJECTION. Tracks like "You ...

Invasion album
$13.69 Doug Howell is a singer-songwriter based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Raised on a farm in mid-Michigan, he went to the University of Michigan, majored in music composition, and got involved in Youth for Christ and other Christian groups. He performed with New Jerusalem for a couple of years, then joined Good News Circle, a traveling evangelistic singing group based in Elgin, Illinois. After traveling the US and recording an album with GNC, Doug left the group and began performing solo. He traveled all over the US, mainly in the midwest, singing in many college concert halls, coffee houses and churches, and produced five solo albums during this period. He settled in Ann Arbor again in 1979. The fourth album, "Songs from Hannah Hurnard's Classic Hinds' Feet on High Places," was recorded just before Christmas, 1982, in London, England, at Abbey Road studios. It is based on the popular Christian allegory, and was released with the cooperation of Tyndale House Publishers. The orchestral arrangements were performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (Doug conducting). This represented a departure in style, but became the best selling of Doug's albums, and still speaks to old and new listeners alike.Around the time the Truth album was released, he began to get more involved in studio writing, arranging and performing. He participated in many TV and radio ads and soundtracks for sporting events, such as the NCAA basketball finals theme. Besides arranging and ...
