On this recording, Morrell, who also served as arranger and producer, brought in some top-notch singers to help out, including Trudy Fair, Maryann Price, Rebecca Kilgore, and Chris O'Connell. Morrell is a talented musician from the old school, comfortable playing the guitar, the steel guitar, and even the dobro. He had been performing for four decades at the time of this recording, and was inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame in 1988.
