Honestly it's hard to tell. Yet on this Independent release you can get some quality tracks that you will only hear at a live show. I enjoyed this CD and if you are a fan of Atreyu I would suggest that you pick it up. Also check out the label they are on there are alot of other great bands on that label that I didn't know of until I went to the website. Atreyu is by far the best band out there, and this EP [I feel] shows their talent better than all their CD's combined!
Yes, it's only a few songs, but those songs made them who they are today.

Coming up in the music scene
For all you hardcore music fans out there who love a death metal sound with a killer voice, this is the band for you! These four young talented musicians put together songs like they were made for it. I'd advise you to read or listen carefully to their lyrics. You'll understand where they're coming from. This cd is definetly worth buying!

i love atreyu but i dont completely agree with the last person who said suicide notes isnt as good... it has three songs from this EP and many other songs that are quite memerable such as Deanne the Arsonist and the Awesome lip gloss and black... i think u should save and buy all 5 albums

the curse may be more "poppy" but at least they have learnt how to write songs, and have dropped the tryhard detah metal thing.

By the time Atreyu's 2002 debut full-length SUICIDE NOTES AND BUTTERFLY KISSES was released, they'd already built a devoted following in their native Orange County, California, with their polished yet punishing brand of metalcore.
