'Janna's self-penned material brings us the voice of a view of the world from a humanitarian perspective. She says, 'So few people have the courage to take responsibility for creating their own reality, and I think it's a key. I trust that my music will not only provoke thought but will also inspire personal and collective growth, positivity and action." Janna began playing piano and dreaming of being a singer/songwriter/performer at the age of five. In her teens she took up the flute and started listening to soul, jazz, pop and classical music. Until her early 20s, Janna sang and toured with several choirs, landed roles in musical theatre productions, and sang with jazz orchestras in Manchester and London. She says, 'At this point I began to understand from a performers' perspective what so many thousands before me have long realized: music really affects people! Music does something that we can't see or hear, something extraordinary, magical, and exciting!' This is when Janna realized she wanted to make her dreams a reality.
