 The return of the King
Abigail returns and spreads havoc. The whole album does justice to the original and remain faithfull to Kind Diamond's (KDs) music style. Another story like album from KD with superb lyrics and a fantastic work on the sound. KD as always animates this album (although not in the Conspiracy way which IMHO is the best album of the King ...) with his voice (with a little help of the masters in audio effects dept) as crisp as ever. Definetely a must buy for all KD funs around the world.

 I've waited along time...
I've waited a long time to finally put my two cents on the board here and after listening to this one alot more I just don't get it. I don't know. Everything sounds pretty good and there's nothing I can really say that's wrong with it but it just doesn't sound as melodic and as musical as all his other work. This one gets a three. -O

 Abigail 2 Does Justice to the Original
Abigail 2 is the best King Diamond CD since The Spider's Lullaby. The album progresses into a classic, almost masterpiece, story that fans of the original, and all other King albums, will love. Snatch up a copy ASAP.

 Awesome Follow Up
It may have taken him 15 years to do it, but King Diamond has outdone himself with this display of metal perfection called "Abigail II." Most fans will probably first notice how a decade and a half of technological advances in the music industry help the production of this cd sound much better than the first "Abigail." But die-hard Diamondbangers will immediately notice how much King and the boys have outdone themselves in songwriting, vocals and instrumentation. Songs such as "Mansion In Sorrow," "Miriam," and "The Crypt" not only display King's powerful eight-octave voice, but the awesome guitar work of Andy La Rocque and Mike Wead, to which there is no comparison. While some of King's novice fans may get lost in the magnificent musicianship of the band on this album, we true Diamondbangers will listen to it over and over again not only for the most powerful KD music ever but also for the continuing story of metal's most famous female character: Abigail!
