$10.29 WWII. The "Blue Max", a coveted medal for achievement in flying, is ruthlessly sought by Peppard, a poor-boy German soldier who climbs out of the trenches and into the aristocratic air force. He is met with prejudice by the other contestants, wealthy snobs who look down upon his low economic stature. When he claims the title, he earns the respect of the General and the General's wife (Andress), who wants to repay him in ways that the General might not appreciate. Peppard, on the other hand, does. Fantastic aerial combat highlights the film, although the scenes between the two lovers don't hurt matters much.

$6.95 Morton (Gabriele Ferzetti), the power-hungry owner of a railroad company, hires Frank (Henry Fonda, playing against type), a gunfighter without a conscience, to kill anyone who stands in the way of the completion of the railroad. After Frank murders land owner Brett McBain (Frank Wolff), McBain's widow (Claudia Cardinale) hires two killers of her own to protect her and gain revenge: a mysterious, harmonica-playing desperado (Charles Bronson) and his rogue sidekick (Jason Robards). Using techniques previously unseen in the genre, Sergio Leone utilizes close-ups, color, and Ennio Morricone's trademark score to create a tense and somber meditation on death which is widely considered to be one of the best westerns in cinematic history. Soon-to-be legendary Italian directors Dario Argento (SUSPIRIA) and Bernardo Bertolucci (THE LAST EMPEROR) collaborated with Leone on the screenplay.

| | Divergence Eve - Vol. 1: Welcome To Watcher's Nest DVD (2005)
Aviator video
$20.39 Directed by Hiroshi Negishi (TENCHI MUYO, BURN UP W), the sci-fi anime series DIVERGENCE EVE imagines the future as a high-tech space opera marked by intergalactic space travel and well-endowed female peacekeepers. Sometime during the 21st century, humanity discovered a way to traverse the universe by slipping through portals that lead into parallel dimensions. Three hundred years later, space travel has become a safe, and even routine, event until an army of robot aliens known as Ghouls launches a series of attacks against the outpost portal Watcher's Nest--prompting the government to send in a group of busty, scantily-clad police cadets to combat the alien menace. Brightly animated and playfully titillating, this collection introduces the racy anime series with the first five episodes.
In the 24th Century, intergalactic space travel has become a reality. One of the first outposts in the far reaches of space is the Watcher’s Nest, a launching point for the brand new state-of-the-art inflation hole drive portal. Unfortunately, the outpost has recently come under attack by a mysterious and vicious alien force known simply as the Ghoul. A group of young hard-headed (and hard-bodied) female cadets with fresh out of boot camp have been assigned to defend the station at all costs. A DVD-only release containing 5 complete episodes presented in anamorphic widescreen with both English 5.1 and Japanese 2.0 language versions with English subtitles.
