This audio document of The Corrs' Dublin homecoming concert has pretty much everything fans of Irish pop could wish for, including an appearance from Bono in his earthly incarnation, fresh from an audience with President George W. Bush. It's to the band's credit that the charismatic singer fails to steal the show, despite creditable efforts via an anthemized version of Ryan Adams' beautifully downtempo "When the Stars Go Blue," and a great, leering rendition of Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra's "Summer Wine."

Somewhat more mysteriously, Rolling Stone Ron Wood also turns up on what sounds dangerously close to a lounge version of Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing," but this minor faux pas is redeemed by the Irish folk medley "Joy of Life/Trout in the Bath" which arguably features more full-on Irishness than the Dublin production of RIVERDANCE. There's also a lovely rendition of Neil Young's "Only Love Can Break Your Heart" that's topped only by Ron Wood's reappearance on a finale of the Stones' "Ruby Tuesday." VH1 PRESENTS THE CORRS LIVE IN DUBLIN is a fine mix of the band's greatest hits with a few well-chosen covers, which will doubtless reach out to new fans and longtime Corrs aficionados alike.

This is a really great live from a talented band, with guests like Bono for two unforgettable songs and Ron Wood. This is an album of surprise with the two unpublished songs with Bono "When the stars go blue" and "Summer Wine" and an other song also never played by them "Only love can break your heart" by Neil Young. I think this cd is very good. The only thing I didn't enjoy is the three songs that were recorded by other artists. I am a child of he sixtys and remember these songs. I prefer to get songs written by the artists themselves .

Another quality "live" performance to back up "unplugged". If you have seen them live then this will appeal and even if you haven't, It will give a fair indication of what this great band is like

5 stars Best than the "Best Of"
The Corrs are one of the most respected grooups in the world. Their live concerts are sublime. What would happen if you ad the The Corrs two of the best musicians in the world? Well. Here's the answer. Bono and Ron Wood join the irish quartet and give us one of the best live performances I've heard. You have to buy it. Why? Because it's essential.
