| A sweet lovestory Excellent movie if you are in the mood for a sweet yet comical love story. By a reviewer (Massachusetts) |
| One of the best movies ever Fate works in really messed up ways sometimes, which is what is shown in this movie. It is a wonderful romantic comedy and one of the Best Movies Ever. It's one of those movies that makes you want to interact with it instead of just watching it. I definitely recommend it to any fan of romantic movies. By Roman (NJ, USA) |

| Wonderfully romantic! I fell in love with Serendipity after I rented it from my video store. Serendipity video Both John Cusack and Kate Beckensale are wonderfully romantic, yet unsure of their destinies. She lives in England, he in NY, and they never exchanged full names. Kate (Sarah) believes in fate, and that if they were meant to be together, then it will eventually happen. After she writes her name in a book and he writes his on a $5.00 bill, they both go in search of these items, even though they are both engaged to other people. After much agony on both their parts, and mine, they finally find each other again and fate wins! By a reviewer (Long Island, NY) |
| Modern-Day Fairy Tale... Serendipity is one of those movies that could have been made some 40 years ago and the leading man could have been played by Cary Grant or Jimmy Stewart... the leading lady by Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn... its a romance that leaves so much to chance and fate that you'll pull your hair out in the theatres trying to understand why these two people are torturing themselves this way... John Cusack is a marvel (as usual) and Kate Beckinsale is refreshing choice as his love interest... it follows in the tradition of a great NY romance and you'll really feel for the two people... this is a good one... and the song by Annie Lennox is a good one too....
