Turn It Loud songs
$23.49 A 2 disc set featuring music from the 1989-90 tour with 2 24-page CD sized booklets packed with color pictures from the tour and the locations at which each song was recorded. The recording was done by Jeff Cohen and mastered by Bob Ludwig.
A condensed version of the 2 disc set, recorded during McCartney's world tour of 1989-90.
TRIPPING THE LIVE FANTASTIC is the live album that McCartney's fans had always hoped he'd make. Recorded during McCartney's '89-'90 world tour, TRIPPING THE LIVE FANTASTIC delivers a perfect mix of Beatles tracks, previously unrecorded songs and McCartney's solo hits. Backed by a band that was probably the best group of musicians that he had worked with since The Beatles, McCartney dazzles with high-power performances that range from the anthemic "Hey Jude" and "Let It Be" to gutsy rock and roll like The Beatles' "Birthday" and a rousing version of Fats ...

Recorded live at the Jazz Showcase in Chicago in August 2000, this CD finds Cecil Payne continuing to play impressively well at 77. The baritone saxophonist is in fine form throughout Chic Boom, ...

Turn It Loud music CDs
$37.55 In retrospect, it's hard to believe both FLYING TEAPOT and its successor ANGELS EGG were released within months of each other in 1973. Each is an elaborate, distinct musical statement. ANGEL'S EGG is the second installment in Gong's legendary "Radio Gnome Trilogy," and it expands upon the ground broken by TEAPOT admirably. Though the band was still pursuing their spacy art-rock direction, the sound here became simultaneously jazzier and more ethereal. Didier Malherbe's sax and flute took a more active role, as did Steve Hillage's elaborate guitar textures.
An important personnel shift had also occured with the arrival of drummer Pierre Moerlen, mallet percussionist Mirielle Bauer and bassist Mike Howlett. These three were very much of the fusion school. After singer/songwriter Daevid Allen's departure, ...
