Gertrude AKA LadyG who left Haiti at 13, is not a newcomer to the stage. Having majored in Musical Theatre in College, and after having performed in numerous plays, she veered towards music in the late 90’s. Gertrude performed with multiple bands until 2002. However, by 2003, after realizing she would not reach her potential as a backup singer. Gertrude started writing songs for what would become a demo.
